A very informative and complete book for young girls growing up in the mainstream school environment in current times. Majority of the modern teens time is spent away from the home engaging, interacting and being influenced by what’s around them. The author has done a fantastic job in addressing the issues young teens face or will face at some point growing up in the west. She explains with logic and great examples to reach the young minds of teens allowing thorough comprehension of the topics discussed. Overall, a much needed book to bring reality in to check and a must read for the young Muslim teens to educate themselves and make smart decisions. For the younger girls (pre teens, whom the book is also recommended for) some topics may need extra guidance especially in answering questions they may have. There is a glossary at the back of the book which is helpful. Useful information for parents, youth leaders and anyone who works with or mentors young Muslim girls. A guide to refer to when understanding influences the Muslims teens face on a daily basis and hopefully offer support, guidance and navigation through these challenges.

I bought this book for my daughters and wanted to read it before I passed it on. I’ve started reading it and it’s so relatable and discusses all the current issues that our daughters are most likely to face. I’d recommend all Muslim parents to buy this book for their daughters, if they want them to understand and remain muslimahs even after they’ve left the wings of their parents.

So well explained and helpful for Muslimahs to understand important topics such as puberty, feminism, modesty and sex education in islam. This is the islamic book all muslim parents need to read.

The topics discussed are relevant and much-needed. As a parent of a teen, I felt relieved by the contents as they addressed a lot of concerns I have had about raising a teenage Muslim in today’s ever-changing society. With the rise of social media, new social norms, pressures and expectations, parents need to be clued up and aware of how to support and guide their children. It’s just as much a guide for parents as it is for the children, and encourages the reader to a shift their perspective to that of the Qur’an and Sunnah. May Allah bless Farhat Amin for all her efforts, she sincerely wants to make changes and help all the teenage Mulimahs with all the experience, skills and knowledge she has gained over the years. How is the book stating one who is unsure should sleep with a boy or a girl? Firstly in islam sex before marriage is forbidden, secondly you cannot sleep with the same sex. May the author of this book find the straight path instead of misleading you g innocent girls who are looking for guidance in Islam.

Zero of five not even one star. I was shocked by the language used in this book. Very graphic and inappropriate even for adult people. This is the opposite of what Islam is teaching us. Just read Sora Yosof if you need to learn the right manners of Islamic speech. Unfortunately, it seems the goal of this book is to introduce ALL the bad ideas of ""adultery"" to Muslim girls under this deceiving title and how to go with it if you live in Western society. Big shame that this book contains the name of Allah (SW) and verses from the holy Quran with this filthy language. I wonder what kind of readers are the ones who gave 5 stars and made me buy the book!
