2000 Colour Combinations: For Graphic, Web, Textile and Craft Designers Paperback – 18 May 2009

I've not been through this in detail, but from what I have seen, it's a very well produced reference book with some gorgeous color schemes and plenty of inspiration. Given time I look forward to exploring this book in some depth - just had another peek and it looks lovely!

Excellent book. Together with Jim Krause's 'Colour Index' and 'Colour Index 2' this is a major addition on colour to my library. Delivered well on time. The colour swatches are larger than those found in Krause's books, however all three books are excellent sources for colour combinations and colour harmonies.

Good illustrations of colour variation and reaction to each other, but little immediate interaction of weave structure advice for weavers. A good and in depth visual guide for colour relationships.

I really like this book, I am a designer and this helps me with inspiration for me and some of my clients when choosing a colour scheme for some projects.

As someone who pours over pantone swatches, this book is heavenly. Page after page of colour palettes ordered and explained in a way that really aids understanding of the power of colour. One for the bookshelf.

A beautiful book. Full of inspiration. A visual challenge for an amateur = me ! So much to learn and enjoy.

You'd think this book would be a delicious source of inspiration for illustrators, fine artists, graphic designers and students alike. Granted, colour is always highly subjective, but I was SO disappointed with this book! I also haven't found anyone else who likes it - despite showing it to various friends who enjoy art professionally or as a hobby. Imagine you could teach a computer colour theory, and ask it to generate random digital files. Joyless and nasty.

A good book for me as I do a lot of multi coloured crochet and this book gives me inspirations on what colour yarns to use together.
