One the most useful item to repair things!
This is one of the most useful item around as it is useful for repairing just about anything. A must have for anyone. It is strong, it bent easily and can be tighten to the right tension in more or less all situations. These days most items or tools can easily brake, usually because a piece of plastic is not strong enough. Of course no glue can ever restore the original (already insufficient) strength. Getting in touch with the supplier is often difficult and usually results in learning that the there are no spares for the broken part. My latest example. I had a functionally excellent cordless extendable bush trimmer, whose orientable head was made of plastic. It broke and suddenly a whole nice piece of useful engineering, with blades, motors, electronics control, safety feature, switches, extendable and lockable handle posts, etc, becomes fit for the bin... Just another piece of rubbish to poison our world with and even including its lithium battery and charger, since the model was replaced after just a year: impossible to buy another one and at least have some spares! All because a piece of plastic costing at most 2 pennies broke. This time I kind of refuse to accept it and did a bit of searching. With two short pieces of this little metal thing, two bolts and related nuts and about an hour of work, I am happily using it again. It took longer to get in touch with the supplier...

Used to brace the back of bookcases
My bookcase shelves were bowing at the back and the fixing pins were struggling to stay put. This strapping looked promising. It was most effective on bookcases that were recessed at the back. I cut up timber strips to fit in the reccess and ran the fixing band from side panel to side panel inserting small screws in the back of the side panels and every 15mm in the timber. I used about three straps per 1800mm tall bookcase. Very effective. Where there was no recess I just cut the timber strip to fit right across the back. Not pretty but unseen in normal use and with the wall adding further bracing. It's made a huge difference to the display of the bookcases. Not a bad job for a female. I'm very pleased with myself.

Excellent adjustable fixing
We used these to hold some PVC strips in place on our fence. We have a 6 foot wall separating our garden from our neighbours but their garden sits higher than ours so in the summer we found eyes peering over the wall. To stop this we put decking lengths along the wall and used pvc strip to cover the gaps. Initially the strong glue was enough but we started to find the odd strip on the floor the next day so sought out this steel banding strip. It was perfect. You can select the required length, cut it with snips or pliers and then screw into place. The strips are relatively unobtrusive and hold the pvc tightly in place. I have used these for other uses so am confident that being galvanised steel they will last for a long time to come.

Does exactly what it says on the tin - but make sure you check the thickness against your needs.
Reasonably happy - it will do the job that I bought it for. My only reservation is that the sheet metal it is made from is a bit thinner and more flexible than I anticipated. In fact the whole strip a bit more flexible than I am used to from other similar products and I will look for another brand next time I need some more.

Excellent product with numerous uses
I bought this to attach additional trellis to a fence. It is excellent - amazing value for the amount you get rolled in a convenient box. It is easy to bend and cut and seems very strong. I could easily use it to firmly attach the panels, placing screws though the holes. I can foresee using it for numerous other jobs. A great find.

Temporary repair
Just what I needed to secure a broken fence post until I could make a more permanent repair. This was cheaper on Amazon than any of the local DIY stores
