Musiclily Pro 6 inline Guitar Locking Tuners String Tuning Pegs Keys Machines Heads Set for Stratocaster Telecaster Style Electric Guitar, Gold

I bought two sets. One was Guyker and the other is Musiclily. I installed the Guykers and they were good but one of the tuners was defective. It felt different from the rest. Overall good but one bad tuner. I contacted them and I was asking for one tuner replacement. They told me to go back through Amazon. I did and unfortunately, Amazon said I could return them for a refund even thought I only wanted one tuner to be replaced. Well it worked out for the best because I then installed the Musiclily. I would have to say these are on par with the Gotoh Magnum Locks I have on another guitar. They are super smooth and very reactive for tuning. I will be returning the Guykers and buying another set of the Musicality's. If you are looking for an excellent tuner with that smooth buttery feel, Musiclily are making some damn nice tuners and get this they are even cheaper than I paid for the Guykers! The Guykers are smaller which I do like but they are logo'd up. I love the Musiclily's because they are all black with no logo. They look cleaner and over I score these very high. Very high quality, tuning retention, reactive and they look amazing. If you are on the fence, the Musicality's are excellent and really feel as quality as my Gotoh Magnum Locks. The Guykers are good but when comparing they have a little play when tuning up or down. It's very slight but I can feel it in comparison this gives the Musiclily's that reactive accuracy when tuning. You move the tuner button and instantly you can hear the string react sharp or flat. I am amazed how good these feel for the price they are selling them for. The fit and finish is great and they were super easy to install. They dropped right in my Jackson strat.

I just installed these in my project guitar, a Monoprice Indio Classic. Total time from start to finish was 40 minutes. I am no luthier. Fit perfectly: I did not have to drill any new holes and they simply dropped in. They are snug, no wiggle after bolted and screwed down. The screws that came with this were slightly larger than the originals which to me is a plus. Appearance is really nice. They have no branding, which is also a positive in my eyes. They look better on the guitar than in the pictures you will find here on Amazon. Finally, and most importantly, they work really well. Easy to snug the strings into the tuning head and very intuitive to use. Made the restring job much easier, and less frustrating, then they usually are for me. I intend to replace all my electric guitar tuners with these. I cannot comment on the longevity yet, but if they fall apart or fail in the future I will post an update. They look solid; but who knows? I can say the metal on the super cheap tuners I replaced literally was flaking off already. I highly recommend these. Hopefully this review helps you. Great product for the price. Quality locking tuners for Strat. Mine worked out very well. Perfect fit. Musiclily is a fantastic place to shop for musicians!

Ok so far these things are pretty alright. I did have one tuner where the locking peg got stuck inside the tuner and the thumb wheel in the back came all the way unthreaded. Easy fix, grabbed it gently with a set of pliers and gently unthreaded the locking post from inside the tuner. I then rethreaded the locking peg to the thumb wheel and added a bit of blue loctite to keep it secure down the road. I stung this guitar up with a set of 9s and tuned it up. So far no string slippage on the B & E strings and they lock just fine. I also went ahead and added a bit of PTFE dry lube to the gears and worked it in by using a tuning peg tool. They feel nice and smooth and have been very stable. Don't let the 15:1 gear ratio scare you away these still feel very solid as far as budget tuners go and have no dead spots. Using them with a trem as well and they hold tune just fine. At half price of Hipshots, these are worth it if you just take a few extra mins to make the small improvements I did. I will definitely start using these on my budget builds and stop buying hipshots for my cheap projects as these work just fine. If I could I would give 4.5 stars just for the locking pegs getting stuck in the tuner and the thumb wheel coming unthreaded from the locking peg being stuck. It's a minor inconvenience when installing. Overall they work just fine.

Bought these to upgrade my sons kit built guitar. It has a floating bridge and was not holding tune. These have made an immediately difference and will stretch the life of this rig until he saves for his “forever” guitar

Unfortunately mine were really really bad. When I insert the string en turn the locking knob everything works fine, but when I try to tune the string the locking knob becomes undone en the string slips out of the post. The only way to thighten them is to turn the tuner 1/10 step and re-fastening the locking knob. Turn it to tight and the string wil break, turn it to little and the string slips. It is really annoying and got me really frustrated. My old tuners were shot and gone so I can’t reinstall those. I just use these “locking” tuners now as if the were normal tuners.

La guitare est une guitare d'entrée de gamme, achetée moins de 100€ d'occasion, et qui avait de sérieux soucis de tenue de l'accord ! Réception: Le set de mécanique arrive avec tout le nécessaire de vis dans un emballage cartonné, les vis et les mécaniques dans des sachets plastiques afin d'éviter toute perte ou dommages Installation: Quelques outils sont nécessaire comme une pince et un tournevis pour retirer les mécaniques en place. L'installation se fait en lieu et place donc les 6 mécaniques sont installées en moins de 20 min à la place des anciennes. On pensera a bien visser et serrer les nouvelles mécaniques avec une clé au bon diamètre et le tour est joué ! Tenue de l'accord: Les mécaniques à blocage permettent justement de bien bloquer la corde une fois celle-ci passée dans l'orifice ! Un nouveau jeu de corde et clairement c'est le jour et la nuit, après avoir stabilisé l'accordage des nouvelles cordes (les guitaristes de longue date seront d'accord), la tenue de la note pour chaque corde n'a plus rien à voir ! Je les utilise maintenant depuis plus de 6 mois en jouant 3/4h par semaine et je peux attester que c'est clairement ce qu'il manquait pour avoir une guitare électrique confortable à jouer sur le long terme ! Petit bonus: le médiator offert avec chaque commande MusicLilly est toujours super appréciable !

I'm really amazed at the quality of these and how well they help my guitar stay in tune. I put them on a Jackson JS22 Dinky. They'll definitely fit Squiers as well.
