It's just like the hoisin sauce you get from Chinese takeaway! It's the best type. If you like hoisin sauce and are after the typical taste you get from Chinese takeaway, look no further! Also. it lasts for ages...so it's well priced!

Good hoisin good brand
Best stuff, good brand, work bulk buying 1litre of it when its on offer at 8 quid something. Great to add to stir frys, marinades and such or just use as a dipping sauce. Not sure i'd pay £13/14 for it but if its on offer £8 ill prob buy again.

Great Taste and Value
This is my second purchase of this larger size Sauce, it's obviously my favourite, I love the flavour. I was regularly buying the normal smaller size bottles they're not exactly cheap it worked out being far more cost effective buying a big size. Family favourite is slow cooked pork in 1 Cup of Hoisin Sauce, it goes great with chicken as a stew or quick fry. A marriage made in heaven with Beef & Onions, beef fried served with Hoisin, beef juices makes a quick easy Gravy. I recently cooked Honey & Hoisin Vegetable stir fry, vegetables Stir-Fried in coconut oil, Shredded Cabbage, spiral Carrots, sliced Sweet Peppers, Bean Sprouts, mild chilli and thin Beans cut in half finishing with toasted sesame seeds the dish came out brilliantly a winning recipe in our home and a delicious way to eat lots of vegetables. I perfer fish simpler fresh tasting not buried in lots of ingredients so use 1 or 2 tablespoons with fish or chicken stock or soya sauce. Cod and salmon really handle the taste without losing its identity I use it all the time so for me it's a great purchase. I definitely want to try the other sauce's available. I recommend the brand and excellent value for money.

Not My Usual Hoisin Sauce Flavour
Not the same as the much lighter in colour I am used to! It's much coarser, thicker and 'stronger' in flavour we (in my opinion) in the UK, are used to! Very dark, thick and no where near the flavour I am used to, supplied by the wide range of British Establishments I frequent for a 'fast food' treat! Would not buy again, but of course, thats only my opinion!

Ich verdünne sie ja mit etwas Wasser, aber Preis-Leistung ist in dem Fall echt gut. Ich mach gerne Rindfleischgerichte damit und verdünnt auch als Salatdressing

....die Sauce ist sehr, sehr dick. Eher wie eine Creme, und dazu noch sehr süß...wie schon meine Vorrezensenten beschrieben haben. Für den direkten, unverdünnten Verzehr fast schon nicht geeignet. Ich würde die Sauce eher als eine Art "Konzentrat" sehen, und diese mit Sojasauce oder Wasser strecken. Dann ist sie fantastisch 😊
