Love this chair.
Everyone at work with a stand up desk is jealous of my chair. That being said, this is not made for bigger people. My husband is 6'1" and 250, and he would never fit in this chair. I am 5'2" and 150 and it is perfect with room to spare. Super easy to put together, took me about 15 minutes. Good support and the seat is comfy.

Nice chair, just not for my needs.
This drafting chair is very comfortable and it was extremely easy to assemble. There are a few issues that you should be aware of before deciding to purchase this chair though. First, it says that the weight limit is around 250 pounds. I am no where near 250 pounds, in fact quite a bit less, but when you extend this chair to its full height and sit in it, it will go down about 1/2 to 1 inch. So if you are purchasing this for a specific height of desk or table then just know that it will be shorter than what it states or what you think it will be. Even that 1/2 inch difference makes it awkward. The materials initially seemed good quality but one of the fold-back arms immediately became loose and will fall forward now with the lightest bump. This is a big problem because I initially got this chair to use while playing guitar and the fold-back arms were a big selling point. However, with the one arm being loose, it makes me a bit nervous because it can and has fallen forward and hit the guitar. If you are just needing a chair that is comfortable and simply to assemble that is a little higher than a normal computer chair then this might work well for you. If you are needing the fold-back arms to stay and needing a specific height then I would probably look elsewhere. I wanted very much to like the drafting chair but it just has too many problems that are specific to my needs.

Good first drafting chair
I bought this for my standing desk because I couldn't sit the entire shift, but didn't want to sit all the way down or adjust the desk height several times a day. For this, the chair worked well and continues to a half a year later. The seat and cushioning are fine for extended use, and I even use this to sit in to watch movies. The only criticisms I have for this unit are as follows: the seat is noisy with any general movement (especially sitting on it or leaving the chair); the arm rests are bare and hard with extended use; and the foot rests hasn't held it's initially set position. The noisiness isn't a deal breaker at this price point, but everything else at my workstation was collected with silence in mind (keyboard, mouse, use of headsets, etc.) Luckily, I wear earbuds to minimize this as you hear movement from this seat from the next room - not ideal. The arm rests are bare, which is a nice aesthetic and makes for easy cleaning, but can take a toll on your elbows with extended use. I adjust seating positions a bit while working, and have wrapped the arm rests in thick cloth when I know I will be sitting for awhile. Design-wise, I feel something more comfortable could've been used. Lastly, the footrest did not hold it's intended position about two inches above the bottom which I set it at. This is a minor measurement, but it should've held where it was placed. I have adjusted the enclosed retaining knob twice after raising the footrest to the desired height, but it always seems to creep back down. I am never put my full weight down on this so it shouldn't have to be readjusted so much. Overall, I think this seat is a good value despite this. Had I had a bigger budget, I'd invest in more for a quieter and more secure chair, but I can't justify the expense on that alone. I recommend this seat outside of those reason and I hope this review helps! Ron

Still Looks Like New After More Than 3 Years
I purchased this drafting chair in April 2023 for my standing desk, and after more than three years of owning it, I feel like I can give an honest long-term review. I don't sit in it all day. I mainly use it when I'm shipping orders or working at my standing desk for an hour or two at a time. It's been a great fit for exactly what I needed. Assembly was easy, and once I adjusted the height, it was comfortable right away. The foot ring is a feature I use every time because it gives my feet a comfortable place to rest when the chair is raised. The flip-up armrests are also a nice touch since they let me slide the chair under my desk when I'm finished and keep it out of the way. What has impressed me most is how well it's held up over the years. Even after owning it since 2023, it still looks almost new. The mesh back is in great shape, the seat has kept its comfort, the chair rolls smoothly, and the height adjustment still works like it did when I first put it together. I haven't had any issues with squeaks, wobbling, or parts wearing out. If you're looking for a drafting chair for a standing desk, workbench, or shipping station, I think this is an excellent value. Based on my experience, I'd definitely buy it again. It's been reliable, comfortable, and has held up far better than I expected for the price.

Feels sturdy & is functional
Just got done putting this together. It was easy with clear directions. Chair pieces were all wrapped individually and well. I was impressed with its simple, clear instructions. The only thing I found a little difficult was keeping the cushion in place while at the same time turning it to screw it in place. But on the third try I did it. I bought this to adjust the seat to my easel and drawing table. Sat in it and it seemed supportive and stable with arms and chair adjustments operational.
