It’s a drain hose. Works as it should

I thought these drain hoses were universal. Turns out Mitsubishi units need a much wider hose

Our mini split systems came with about 3’ of drain hose. This is not acceptable as the drain water flows onto all the wiring and lines outside the house, within the line covers. I wanted to extend the hoses to the ground to prevent this issue. Very tight fit over mini split drain hose. Had to manually dilate this hose to fit, applied pvc glue and lightly tightened a hose clamp over the connection. Looks to be a good solution, so far. The drains are exiting out and away from the house, now. Not on electrical connections and refrigeration lines.

I needed to extend the drain line for my Mr Cool mini-split. This fit up exactly, then I secured with high quality tape. Very flexible considering the thickness of the material. Really lightweight and simple to use.

Great for use with ductless split systems. Inexpensive, flexible and doesn't come pre kinked like so many of the plastic rolls of drain tubing do. Best feature is it actually fits the drain outlet tubing on most ductless heads. Cut to length and can get 2-4 installs out of a roll.
