Axial 48P Portal Gears, Overdrive 25T/16T (2): UTB18, AXI312006

This is the second Axial UTB18 that I own. The first one was bought when the design was new and only with 2 wheel steer. After extensive upgrading, it's become a favorite rock crawler, even on terrain so rough that only a 1/10 or 1/8 scale can more easily handle. Now I own the 4ws version, and so I know the drill in terms of upgrades that are worth the expense. If you want to upgrade quickly and simply with the most bang for your buck, then do the overdrive change. Yeah, there are a few steps to take and care exercised to reassemble, but you can do it. The end result is that it drastically improves the climbing capability of the UTB18. Once that's done, the next upgrade should be the motor and steering arms, but that's another review.

worked great, make sure you get 2 packs if doing both axles same gears. I thought the 2 quantity it referred to was for 2 axles, but it was just 2 sets and you'll need 4 sets for 2 axles.
