Excellent
Gosh I've missed this cupmen. At around £30 for 10, it's naturally a bit pricey compared to just buying what we have available in the UK, or getting it for 150¥ in Famima, but honestly the price is worth it. There's an excellent amount of toppings, a brilliantly tasty broth, and it's a solid portion for one person. As other reviewers have stated, the best before is not so far in the future, attached you can see these expire in June when they were purcased in March (Japanese date structure is YYYY MM DD) but they taste so good that I can't see that being an issue . That said, and I don't recommend this, I've absolutely eaten 3 year expired cupmen in a moment of beer-powered idiocy and experienced no adverse affect, so a week or so is probably not a big deal lol .

The Real Stuff!
Sure it costs more but it is worth it. A special treat that can't be topped by the EU produced model. Highly recommended.

Amazing noodles
I haven’t been able to find these noodles for purchase in the UK, since I came back from a year in Japan in 2008, and boy have I missed them. They absolutely blow all our UK supermarket “ramen” out of the water. This curry flavour is so tasty (and not too hot for non-spice fans) and the little pieces of potato and the textures make it such a joy to eat. If you haven’t tried this product, you need to, but be warned that it will ruin all other cup noodles forever. These are the best.

I really missed these.
I am Japanese, and I really missed these. They are a bit pricey, but it is worth it! By the way, the expiration date is printed in Japanese date format (year/month/date).

Best ramen noodles i tried
These are personally are the noodles i go for despite the expensive price to import from Japan. Out of many other noodles these beat them all, the flavour texture etc is better. If you don't mind paying the price for these then i recommend you try these.

Lecker
Extrem lecker und spürbar sättigender als die deutsche Variante. Leider wird einem dabei nur allzu klar, wie minderwertig viele Produkte auf dem europäischen Markt im Vergleich ausfallen.

By far the best instant ramen, I'm so glad that I can get these here in the States.
I will buy more when I run out, by far a good buy!

Short short shelf life, good flavor
These original, imported, Japanese Nissin Cup Noodle flavors are an absolute favorite of mine. Their full-bodied flavor profile is no way comparable to those "watered-down" variants specifically made for western markets. Those instead try to emulate flavors that western consumers have grown to associate with Japanese cuisine, but can be more accurately described as "mild flavors of indeterminate East-Asian origin". Cup Noodle Curry, for me, is a favorite among favorites. It captures the essence of what makes Japanese curry (with all its rice/ramen/udon variants) a beloved soulfood, and stuffs that into the known Cup Noodle format. The resulting product, when prepared as per instructions, are springy noodles with a bit of bite still, coated in a thick Japanese curry roux sauce with a few small pieces of veg, herbs and meat. The taste of the sauce is pretty close to what you'd get if you followed a "shortcut" Japanese curry recipe with a package of S&B Golden Curry Mild as a base. What I received does have a very short shelf life of about ~3 months remaining. Not that it actually matters much for a fully dehydrated, airtight, food product that afaik doesn't include meta-stable compounds with toxic products. But some potential buyers are squeamish about best-by dates, so I am explicitly mentioning it here. All in all, I am very happy with this product. My only wish is that Nissin would start also producing their original Japanese flavors in Europe. Nissin Cup Noodle Curry can be had for about ¥220 (about 1.40€) in a Japanese kombini. The EU import fees and taxes more than double this price, here this works out to a unit price of 4€.
