Used them to stop water flooding my garage. Worked well. Bit tricky to get them filled with sand. I would recommend you get a friend to help you. Well made, will use again I suspect. With the ice caps melting I think it’s going to be a damp century.

Great sandbags. Not used for sand, but to keep the catch in when I go fishing. Keeps the fish cool via evaporation. They have lots of uses like wrapping my night lights in, keeps them safe and padded. They are also a great size not to big not too small, and they are strong.

So I bought these as I needed a lot of hessian to make a scarecrow mask so in all honestly I can’t comment on the use as an actual sandbag, but these came through they are not too thick the twine used to sew the sides was well sewn very tight as it took me ages to undo lol.... it seems good quality but like I said it’s not very thick. Delivery was very quick no hassles there.

Look nice and are functional and necessary here. Great difficulty squeezing bags of sharp sand into these these though, as they're narrower than the standard width of plastic bags of sand and without retaining some of the plastic the sand bag won't last as long.

Although at first i thought you could just put samd in and it will hold then i read the reviews. These bags are designed so the sand soaks the water up therfore making a good protective. If you just put sand, sand will fall from the holes. Thankfully i just needed the bags to hold down the trampoline, so small type stones will be adequate for my needs.

The hessian sacks were a great addition to a pirate party we were throwing. Filled with newspaper they really looked the part. Later I used them in the garden as part of a retaining wall (this time filled with soil). They worked great on both occasions. The delivery was quick and packaging was neat and tidy. 10 sacks give good coverage and would be able to protect both front and rear door from flooding (depending on size of door).
