Works great fixed my flat tire in no time

The Slime tyre sealant can work if the puncture is small and in the tread, and there is zero damage to the carcass. It is not a permanent repair, just hopefully enough to slowly nurse the car a few miles to a proper tyre-repair centre, where they will most likely say the tyre needs replacing. The instructions are hidden under the sticky labels (two layers of them) and it is a good idea to read and understand them before you ever need to use it, most likely in the dark, in the rain and with traffic howling past. You will always need a tyre-inflator pump and a reliable tyre-pressure-gauge, preferably one that includes a stronger metal valve-core spanner than the plastic toy supplied with the Slime. I also carry a plug kit like this one with additional vulcanising solution for a stronger and more durable repair; and for someone with strong hands in the light and dry and safety this is a much better option than the Slime. As soon as possible afterwards I will still ask a professional to check the tyre and my repair.

Used this for years never had a failure to fix a small hole

I had a slow puncture on my motorcycle's rear tyre despite there being no visible signs; my tyre pressure went from 38 PSI down to 16 PSI in a week, so I got some Slime before committing £180 for a new tyre. Thankfully, Slime did the job! I used a third of the bottle and after a week, the pressure was reading at 37.5 PSI. Slime is well worth a try before going down the more expensive route of getting a new tyre.

Well, I got a puncture (screw) and used this, and it got me home. Can't complain at all. So I'm getting exactly the same again. Good stuff.

TOP! Hatte das Zeug 5 Jahre im Kofferraum und (Gott sei Dank) nicht gebraucht. Letzte Woche war es dann aber soweit. "Druckverlust hinten rechts". Natürlich ein Nagel drin. Da hab ich das Zeug dann mal ausprobiert. Zunächst hab ich die restliche Luft am Ventil aus dem Reifen gelassen, dann das Innenleben des Ventils herausgedreht. Ich hab gleich die ganze Flasche in den Reifen gekippt, was mit dem mitgelieferten Schlauch auch problemlos ging. Danach hab ich das Innenleben wieder reingeschraubt, den Reifen mit dem Kompressor wieder aufgefüllt und bin SOFORT eine Runde durch die Siedlung gefahren, damit sich das Zeug schön im Reifen verteilt. Das Zischen war sofort verschwunden. Reifendruck im Fahrzeug resettet und seit dem ist der Reifen dicht. Das ist jetzt 3 Tage her. Natürlich werde ich aber bald zur Werkstatt fahren, damit die Jungs sich das mal angucken können.
