Can it be used on a automatic transmission

Liqui Moly Mos2 has nothing to do with your transmission. This is added to your oil. Yes it will work with a manual or automatic, but you don't add this to your transmission fluid.

so how does this compare to (20002) Cera Tec Friction Modifier ? are they serving the same purpose? whats the recommended mileage interval?

Cera Tech is more concentrated. It will last 30,000 miles even through several oil changes. Liquid Moly 2009 is just for one oil change and is not concentrated and will last only during oil change period of 3,000 to 7,000 miles.

Can this also be used in small quantities in a riding mower or 9 hp snowblower?

Yes. I’ve used this in my 6.5hp push lawnmowers in small quantities mixed in the oil & they run much quieter.

Does this product help reduce oil comsumption?

I used the CERA TECH and before that I used to add a quart of oil almost every 500miles but recently I used the moly engine flush and rinse, then I added the cera tech at oil change. Since then I drove over 2500miles and so far I added only 2 quarts which one of them was today!!! Now, I am trying this one 2009. I hope it would do well. I will post the results. I also added the 2007 to my gas and since then the performance of my 2007 ML500 has changed sooooo much for better and my check engine light also went away!!! There is no smell of burned oil from my muffler. It is smell of clean burned gas only now.
