Fantastic Beginner's Crochet Kit - Dinosaur Woobles Delight!
I recently ventured into the world of crochet as an absolute beginner, and the Dinosaur Woobles Kit has been an absolute game-changer for me. I couldn't be happier with my purchase, and here's why: Easy-to-Follow Instructions: As a newbie, I was worried about tackling a crochet project, but the instructions included in this kit were incredibly clear and beginner-friendly. They walked me through each step with detailed explanations, making the whole process much less intimidating. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly I was able to grasp the basics of crochet thanks to these instructions. Helpful Video Tutorials: What truly set this kit apart for me were the video tutorials. They were a lifeline! Not only did I have written instructions to reference, but I could also watch someone demonstrate the techniques. This visual aid was invaluable and gave me the confidence to tackle each aspect of the project. It felt like having a crochet teacher right there with me. Adorable Dinosaur Designs: The Dinosaur Woobles themselves are utterly adorable. I was amazed at how professional they looked when I finished them, and I owe it all to the well-designed patterns. The end result was a hit with my friends and family, and I felt a great sense of accomplishment. High-Quality Materials: The kit came with high-quality yarn and crochet hooks, which made the entire process enjoyable. I didn't have to worry about the materials falling apart or causing frustration, allowing me to focus on honing my crochet skills. Great Value: Considering the quality of the materials, the comprehensive instructions, and the video tutorials, I believe this kit is an exceptional value for beginners like me. It's not just about making cute dinosaurs; it's about learning a new skill that can be applied to future crochet projects. In conclusion, the Dinosaur Woobles Kit is an absolute gem for beginners in the world of crochet. I couldn't be happier with my experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to dive into this creative and rewarding craft. The combination of easy-to-follow instructions and helpful videos truly sets this kit apart, making it a 5-star choice for beginners. Happy crocheting!

Amazing learning tool
I had only crocheted scarves and blankets coming into this. The formatting of the video instructions (one short video per stitch/step, easy to replay and toggle back and forth between them) legitimately taught me how to read patterns in one go. Learning the actual stitches took a bit longer, and I had to redo it a couple times, but once I was done with one kit I became able to make pretty much anything I wanted. The fact that the yarn is dense and doesn't split helps so much when you just need to figure out what you're doing. Ironically, the only downside is that now I don't want to do these ones anymore because scraping through an anthology of videos to get the pattern is annoying now that I can read patterns! I would love to know if there's some way to get the pattern without using the video, but I guess the entire point of this brand is to learn. I've been recommending it to people who want to learn to crochet. I can't believe how fast I learned patterns, whereas before, I assumed they would be too hard to learn.

Perfect for Beginners and Lefties! 🦖
I am truly, madly, in love with The Woobles! As a true beginner (and a lefty 😬), I was nervous to purchase this after a few frustrating experiences with off-brand kits that left me tangled and confused. I was wrong! Woobles made it so easy. Their instructions are crystal clear, and they even include a left-handed version with videos!!!!!— total game-changer. I was actually able to follow along and finish my first project without tears or YouTube rabbit holes (except when I decided I wanted to master the magic loop but that’s a whole different story). The yarn is soft, high quality, and pre-started so you can jump right in. If you’re new to crochet, skip the cheap alternatives — they don’t come close. This kit is worth every penny for the frustration it saves. I spent several hours on a different kit and never accomplished anything, where this one had me crocheting like a pro (pro-newbie) in no time. Now I have the cutest little dino to prove it! 🧶✨ 📸 Meet my new pal, Fred 🦖

Expensive but Incredibly Beginner Friendly
The wooble kits are expensive, but it will come with everything you need to make an adorable little critter. These have great beginner tutorial videos and beginner yarn, especially if you've never crocheted before (which was me). If you buy more than one - or many - you're going to quickly notice that you're getting the same hook over and over (a not that great but not that bad hook). Sometimes on their website - not sure about Amazon - there's occasionally the option to get a kit sans hook. That's always nice. There's a slight Beanie Baby aspect of "collecting them all," and "here's some novelty hooks, collect them all," which I would be cautious of if you have an addictive personality. That said, making Fred the Dino was a delight and now that I have his pattern I can make him anytime I want, even with more challenging yarn one day. (Once you use your unique kit login you can download the pattern or just remember to save your login card with the password). I definitely recommend for beginners.

I Finally Learned to Crochet!
I am an advanced beginner level knitter. I've been knitting for a long time, but I have ADHD and really struggle with the size and complexity of knitting projects. I like short, quick projects. Once I moved to the desert, I no longer had a reason to make hats and scarves, so I was mostly making dishcloths. It gets old. I'd always heard crocheting was easier and faster, but since I'm a "thrower" knitter, using my left hand to hold the yarn just seemed to really confuse me and I struggled to learn. I tried. Really, I did. I watched videos. I read books. I had a friend try to teach me. I took a class at a local yarn store. I made the most progress in that class, but when I asked them for an easy pattern to practice what I'd learned, she said no, just keep working on my swatch. Well, that's just not going to make my brain happy to randomly make stitches with no direction, so that was the end of that. This was my last attempt. If I couldn't do it with this, I was going to just accept that my brain is not going to learn how to do this and I would just have to accept I was a knitter, but would never be a crocheter. Well, I'm THRILLED to report, that I I finished Fred the Dinosaur. I can crochet. Barely. But I can actually see a path to finally getting the hang of this craft. The video tutorials were super helpful. I followed along. I rewatched some eight times. I pulled out the same row five times because I kept forgetting to count (you fellow ADHD'ers know what I'm talking about) and would lose track of my stitches. But I finished. WARNING: They have Beginner and Beginner+ level kits. Fred is a Beginner+. If you have literally never crocheted before, I do not recommend him as your first. It can be done, I am proof. But this was not easy and it involved a significant amount of frogging (ripping out stitches and rows) and profanity. His body was easy enough but those yellow spikes are what make him a real challenge. I'd recommend perhaps starting with Pierre the Penguin. You can find the skill ratings on the Woobles website.

Beginner crotchet lit
This was a gift for our granddaughter who wanted to learn to crotchet. Easy to follow instructions for young learners. Kit includes everything needed to make one adorable project and feels to be good quality materials. Would recommend for any child wanting to learn to crotchet.

10/10 Would Recommend
To the negative reviews: in what world are these not the easiest, clearest directions to follow? As a complete beginner to crochet (I lightly dabbled in knitting forever ago), this kit was a lot of fun. All pieces were included, the packaging was adorable, and the attached video directions were some of the easiest and clearest craft directions I’ve ever seen. They are set up in short increments, were right to the point, and easy to refer back to when necessary. I ended up restarting my project because I made the stitches too tight the first several rounds and the directions to easily restart my wooble were right there in an easy to navigate webpage. As you go on, the directions become less step-by-step, and instead give you overall directions for techniques you’ve already learned. I found this to be helpful as a learning tool rather than seeing every single stitch. I’m already looking for my next kit…

Cute kit, but may not be as beginner-friendly as expected
I got this as a gift because the packaging and concept seemed perfect for kids or total beginners. The kit itself is adorable—the yarn is soft, the tools are kid-sized and easy to hold, and the instructions are very well illustrated. That said, even with the helpful video tutorials, it turned out to be a bit more challenging than expected. The recipient (a child with no crochet experience) tried it for a few days but quickly lost interest. The size of the finished project is small and cute, but the tiny stitches can be tricky for younger hands or those totally new to crafting. This is a great kit for older kids or adults who want to learn, but absolute beginners may need a little extra patience and guidance.

Learn to crotchet
Bought for my granddaughter, at her request. She was disappointed in that the video was much too short for her to grasp the information offered
