A Great Gift Book With Its Stunning Cover and Design!
Although I bought this book for myself, my first thought when I opened the Prime package was this: "Whoa--maybe I shouldn't open it too wide and break the seal. This would make a beautiful gift book for Christmas or someone's birthday." The gold embossed cover is stunning, and the thumbnail photo on Amazon certainly doesn't do it justice. But on to the content: Each day's reminder about positive thinking is clever and helpful. Typically, the entries draw on some well-known author's admonition for healthy mindfulness, some research about how the brain works, or some reflection about what makes for happiness in your own life. For example, Week 45, Day 1: The author encourages readers to replace the negative thought, "What if I fail?" with "What if X project turns out better than expected?" Another example: Week 25, Day 3: The author gives advice on how to stop a negative person from ruining your day--and their own. Let's say the negative person begins with the negative chatter. You respond, "That's awful. So what's the BEST thing that's happened to you today (or this week)?" That will definitely alter the conversation that follows. This book will clearly inspire, uplift, and create a positive outlook.

It’s pretty compact. Though
It’s smaller than I expected it to be. There’s not much space to write on. It’s pretty compact. Though, on the other hand, it’s a convenient-sized journal and the quality of the paper is great and I’m in love with the design. Good deal!

Perfect gift book
This is a beautifully designed book that is a treasure of wisdom. Nancy Clark has assembled 365 days worth of potent daily prompts for her readers as they begin their journaling journey. She has collected wisdom from a variety of sources...research, neuroscience, and personal experiences. Easy to read and yet not full of vacuous platitudes, each day and week offer something of value as her readers come to understand the importance of changing their mindset to overcome challenges and obstacles in life. We all need to develop a positive mindset to help us be more resilient in the face of those challenges and obstacles. This book goes a long way in helping readers get there...

Positively Positive
Nancy Clark has created a lovely Positive Journal. The book is compact, beautifully designed, and packed with great ideas for creating a happier life. Nancy teaches positive psychology-based skills with science-backed research. She has a strong science background; her first job was in rocket science with NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. While the list of contributors in this book is impressive, Nancy herself is at the forefront of creating a more positive world helping women to succeed and live fulfilling lives.
