I've used these since i got my dog from a puppy as don't want him pumped full of chemicals but do want him worm free & healthy. I send his poo off every 3 months to be tested for worms and every time he's come back clear apart from one time when i ran out of vermex for a few months and he got fox lungworm. Since then he has been treated with something i got recommended by a hollistic vet which has now eradicated them. He is back on the vermex and the samples are once again clear. If you want a more hollistic approach to treating your dog these are fantastic & clearly work at keeping the gut inhospitable for worms, he loves them like most treats the only drawback is they are expensive but worth it for treating naturally.

I have been using these for my 2 dogs for about 3 years now. They really love them and have them daily as their lunchtime treat. I have never had a problem with worms since I started using Verm-x and love that this is a natural way to prevent and treat 'intestinal challenges', without the need to use chemical wormers. One of my dogs would go off her food after using a chemical wormer and I realised this after the second time it happened. Since using Verm-x she has not had a problem. I prefer to use natural remedies, rather than pump my dogs full of chemicals, which so many vets promote and un-knowing people do. I highly recommend Verm-x as a natural treatment for worms and intestinal challenges.

My dogs love these crunchies and think that they are getting daily treats. We have been using for 3 months and so far no side effects even from my sensitive dog. Also no sign of worms so I can only assume that they are doing what they are meant to. Will be buying more once this tub is finished.May 2018I have now been giving these to me dog for 1 1/2 years. She has a sensitive tummy and itchy skin. This has not upset her at all. She enjoys her "treats" and pesters us until she gets them. Recent worm count showed no worm or egg count in her samples. Die Verm-X Leckerchen schmecken unserem Hund sehr gut und sie duften wunderbar nach Kräutern und frischem Heu.Ob sie so gut für die Darmflora und das Immunsystem sind, wie der Hersteller behauptet, kann ich nicht einschätzen - aber seit unser Hund die immer zu seinem Essen dazu bekommt, muss er nicht mehr alle Pferdeäpfel vor seiner Nase probieren. Ich schätze mal, dass die Verm-X Leckerchen für Hunde Bestandteile enthalten, die der Hund auch an Pferdeäpfeln schätzt - und insofern scheint es mir schon so, dass die Verm-X Leckerchen eine sinnvolle Nahrungsergänzung darstellen. Außerdem konnte ich beobachten, dass die Verm-X-Leckerchen die Probleme unseres Hundes mit den Analdrüsen positiv beeinflussen - wenn er diese Leckerchen länger nicht bekommt, geht es schnell wieder los mit mehrfachem "Ansetzen" und erkennbaren Problemen beim Kotabsatz.Ob die Verm-X Leckerchen tatsächlich Wurm-Infektionen verhindern, weiß ich natürlich nicht. Unser Hund scheint noch nie Würmer gehabt zu haben, aber er wird auch prophylaktisch so alle drei bis vier Monate "richtig" entwurmt (na ja, manchmal auch erst nach fünf...).Trotzdem denke ich, die Verm-X Leckerchen für Hunde sind auf jeden Fall eine gute Nahrungsergänzung, weil sie offensichtlich den Appetit auf Pferdeäpfel dämpfen und sich positiv auf den Stuhlgang bzw. auf die Analdrüsen des Hundes auswirken.Nachtrag: Mir ist auch aufgefallen, dass unser Hund praktisch nie Blähungen hat, wohingegen andere Hunde doch teilweise sehr arg unter Blähungen zu leiden scheinen (oder vielmehr deren Besitzer…). Hier scheint meiner Meinung nach auch ein positiver Effekt der Verm-X-Leckerchen zu bestehen. Ähnlich Effekte wie mit den Verm-X-Leckerchen wurden von anderen Hundebesitzern mit dem Luposan Kräuterkraft beschrieben. Dieses habe ich aufgrund des etwas günstigeren Preises mittlerweile auch mal ausprobiert und es scheint tatsächlich ähnlich zu wirken. Die Verm-X-Leckerchen scheinen unserem Hund allerdings besser zu schmecken, so dass ich wohl doch zumindest gelegentlich wieder auf diese zurückgehen werde.
