Disney Stained Art Jigsaw Puzzle[1000P] All Stars Stained Glass (DS-1000-764)

Overall, great puzzle. I personally love these translucent puzzles from Japan, and I had been eyeing this one for a while. Is it expensive? Yes, but I feel like it's a big bang for your buck compared to other Disney-themed stained glass puzzles. Being made of plastic, it's extremely sturdy and the pieces fit firmly and tightly together. This was a boon for me, as I did this puzzle in an extremely small space and needed to move larger completed sections around periodically in order to try to be organized. The finished product is also massive; I think it would be beautiful to display in a window You could probably DIY or buy a regular frame to display it. (Tenyo also sells a frame, but it is extremely expensive, so I passed on it.) My puzzle thankfully came with all of the pieces, but there is a slip inside of the puzzle to replace lost pieces. There were some issues, though. Because a lot of the puzzle is split into sections that were designed to replicate stained glass, I found it to be quite challenging towards the end of the puzzle where I had to rely a lot on the puzzle piece's shape because there were so many colors, lines, and small details to consider when placing something. Also be careful when doing this puzzle in strong lighting, as the colors on the puzzle may not match the colors on the box, which can throw you off; this could be due to the pieces being transparent and mixing with the color of the surface you're working on. Overall, if you have $60.00 to spend freely and you want a challenge, I'd say buy this! Just give yourself plenty of time and space; it is a challenging puzzle.

Beautiful! The colors are vibrant and the pieces are plastic and cut well. I honestly believe this puzzle brand is the best puzzle makers out there. Once I was lost a piece and I was able to get a replacement piece from them. It was a fun puzzle to put together and the characters reminded me of the different movies they came from. I recommend this item to anyone who loves putting puzzles together. The brand is, I believe, originally from Japan. I needed to use google translate to be able utilize their replacement piece service. Quick note: the puzzles I’ve done from this brand have either been made of solid white plastic or from their ‘stained glass’ line which were opaque white pieces to allow light to shine through.

This puzzle is wonderful! The stained glass effect is very cool and the pieces are made out of a material that is great for puzzling. We now own two of these stained glass puzzles but this one is far superior to the other. The other puzzle we have curls up on us and is very annoying to work with, but we had no issues here. This puzzle was enjoyable since you can look at a piece, and search for where it goes. So I'd say it's an easier 1000 piece puzzle, compared to some others. It was a lot of fun to piece together all the characters. Highly recommend this puzzle as a present for kids into jigsaw. This puzzle feels like it will last a really long time because of the plastic pieces. Oh you can totally pick up the ENTIRE puzzle really easily once it is put together..the pieces click together that strong.

This puzzle is hands-down the most gorgeous puzzle I have ever seen or done. Once you complete it and put it against a window, the light shines through so beautifully. It was a bit of a pain to put together, as you had to hold each piece up to the light to really see the details, but I would definitely do it again in a heartbeat. Quality is absolutely amazing, I did not need anything to hold the pieces together. I’ve done their smaller stained glass puzzles before, and I like this one more because the pieces are larger, and therefore allows for more of the light to come through. 1000000/10 I am recommending to EVERYONE!

So the reviews are FACTUAL! This is my favorite puzzle I think I've ever done. We typically only like doing Springbook puzzles because the pieces fit together perfectly and it doesn't fall apart. These pieces physically SNAP in, like you hear the noise. Which I must say is beyond satisfying... its like a little 'GOOD JOB' every time you put a piece in correctly. There really is no need for glue (I didn't believe this when I read it in the reviews before I ordered). ITS TRUE! You could stick in a frame and hang it as is! This puzzle is hard in the sense that there are lots of colors all over the puzzle and no good way to sort. We had 3 adults working on it and are avid puzzle do'ers. And we finished it in about 7ish hours. We weren't racing or trying to go against a clock by any means. Just a lazy Sunday puzzle! My mom likes the crazy puzzles that are like all M&M's or she is the one that does the sky or the ocean while the rest of us do the more specific things. :) She had fun and the rest of us had fun!

This was the first time I had ever seen a plastic jigsaw puzzle, didn't even know it was plastic until I opened the box, but I will seriously seek out more. The pieces clicked together definitively. The colors were vibrant and I had no trouble seeing them clearly with a desk lamp on my table. I completed this in one 13 hour sitting (just couldn't stop once I got started), but it was a pleasant level of challenging. The coolest thing about the plastic pieces though, is that they really held together when they were connected. It was great for moving completed sections to their appropriate areas, and once the puzzle was completed I was able to pick up the entire thing in a single pane. This would be perfect for framing (without a backing) because the light shines through the pieces like a stained glass window. Gorgeous picture too.

The first time I bought it I got the 2,000 peice which wasn't the plastic so I was really worried about trying to buy it again however I really wanted it! Returned the first and I did get the plastic the second time. It was so fun and difficult cuz the pieces were translucent. It is easy to tell which side is the right side. It's very sturdy in fact a little hard to seperate them lol. It has a nice click every time I put a peice into place. It is a little warped however it doesn't really bother me. It's so pretty when a light shines through it. An idea for parents, you can split it nicely so your kids can solve little sections at a time. Get zip lock bags to separate each section. Something I did with my kid gave them a section every day to solve until they just had to connect the whole puzzle together. Had a lot of fun.

We've done a lot of regular puzzles, usually sticking to 750 pieces and only having done a handful of 1000 and 2000 piece puzzles. This was super fun to put together because the pieces fit together really well, and it's easier to look for pieces in the box since you can see through them (the color is muted and matte on the back side of the pieces). It's definitely challenging to put together, but all of the "mini" scenes with different characters made it easy to tackle section by section. We'll definitely buy more puzzles from this brand when we see another picture we love, but will probably stick to regular puzzles in the meantime since this was very expensive. The quality is superb, and we were not missing any pieces. This is a great option if puzzle dust bothers you, and if you have cats who like to steal pieces, since they will not leave teeth marks in these!

Per evitare problemi legati al peso, che potrebbero rendere il puzzle fragile una volta appeso, suggerisco di irrobustire il puzzle mediante le apposite pellicole o la colla per puzzle. Personalmente non avendo a disposizione una finestra delle dimensioni adatte ho scelto di montare dietro al puzzle una striscia di LED che rende il tutto ancora più magico. Il venditore è stato gentile e super cortese nel tenermi aggiornata sullo stato dell ordine e della spedizione. Super raccomandato

Great product exclusively from Japan. Amazing quality plastic pieces click together nicely and without the traditional seams that you're used to with wooden/board type jigsaws. It would be amazing back-lit but we've mounted it in a picture frame with a bright white gloss backing sheet to reflect normal daylight. Worth every penny.

Für alle, die mit sich ringen, weil der Preis ja doch etwas höher ist als gewöhnlich: dieses Puzzle lohnt sich definitiv!! Ich liebe Puzzles und ich liebe Disney - und dieses Puzle vereint beides nicht nur, es ist auch recht anspruchsvoll dadurch, dass die einzelnen Motive ineinander verschlungen und kreisförmig angelegt sind. Drehwurm vorprogrammiert! Normalerweise beginne ich mit dem Rand, aber hier war eine andere Herangehensweise erforderlich. Das Material ist eine Art Plastik, allerdings durchscheinend. Das Puzzle sollte am besten auf einem hellen Untergrund gepuzzelt werden, weil ansonsten die Kontraste und Konturen nicht gut rauskommen. Die Teile passen super ineinander und lassen sich später auch relativ leicht wieder auseinandernehmen. Ich hatte megaviel Spaß! Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen!
