Worth every dollar. Works when we tried it but haven't needed to use it. We are both handicapped and live alone. Have a lot of safety products and oxygen and medical products.

The electric lift chair is worth its weight in gold.My wife fell the week of receiving the chair.It payed for itself the first time I used it.It was easy for her to slide onto the chair,and lift herself up.We take it when we go on vacation,you never know when a fall might happen so we are prepared.

This chair works fine but it sticks so hard it is very difficult to remove from the tub. I had to have help to remove it and even a person with all their parts working correctly found it hard. When you unstick one foot and move to the other the one you just unstuck sticks down again,

I am 74 years old and I fall quite often. I can't get up when I do. My elderly husband struggles to help because that requires lifting me and it is a lengthy, difficult process, leaving us both sore and exhausted. We bought this chair to help. The other day I fell hard. My husband got the chair from under my bed where we store it. He plugged in the power cord. I rolled to my side, he placed the flattened chair under me, then helped me roll onto the chair. I pushed the power button and I was lifted to a seating position where I could then stand. I can't praise this chair enough! It was easy to store and use. It's a bit heavy but not too hard to maneuver. I am absolutely thrilled that we bought this chair and highly recommend getting one. The remote is now charged and will not need to be plugged in.

Edit**Seller did eventually answer and took care of problem. Took quite a while but they did make it right. Thank you! The remote to the chair did not work resulting in having to call 911 to get my husband up. I contacted the seller to see if they would send a replacement remote and charging cord 3 days ago and have heard nothing back. Very disappointing. I have contacted them a second time. Hopefully they will get back to me because this is a very important item for us to be able to use.

Holds 243 lbs. no problem, I recharge after every use, be careful to have your patient centered on the seat as it can tip (you do not want that). It has come in handy 3 times now. Happy with my purchase, bought the used one for $250 and it seems brand new !! All information was in the box. My guess is someone with a wide bottom may have difficulty getting centered; would be nice if the seat was a little wider but I think this width does make it easy to manuever in tighter spaces.

The lift chair does exactly what it says it will do. I found it very helpful.

one of those products you hope you never need. my wife has fallen several times and this will make it so I can get her back to her fee, without requiring help form others

Arrived yesterday in a box within a box! The 'instructions' aren't just in chinese English, they are worse than useless. The classic is 'Make sure the red stop lever is in the correct position'. What IS the correct position? There is a photo but it is in black and white and I dont think it is of the stop lever! The item comes with a US 2 pin plug and a UK 3 pin adaptor. Nowhere can I find any mention of whether it can run on 240v as well as 110v. I plugged it in to charge and it didnt catch fire. After 4 hours charging and a lot of fiddling with the jack plug I got it to work, but it wont even lift my 180 lbs. Its supposed to lift 300! Ive put it back on charge to see if it just wasnt fully charged. Given the 1 positive review so far I'll keep trying. 2 days on, and the best it can do is lift me about 8". I have requested a return/refund via Amazon. So far I have received a 'no reply' email from Amazon including a question from the Chinese supplier, something like 'Does it raise to the full height with no load?'. Yes it does, but so what. I can't reply, but China may be able to read this review. I'll follow up on my claim tomorrow. It is a great pity, as this would be a very useful lift, if it worked. Desperate to make it work, I bought a 220/110 transformer, and charged it using that! Fantastic - it lifted me all the way up. Next day we were back to hardly lifting me at all. Another 24 hours - same. If it worked it would be worth twice its £250. I had to claim on the Amazon guarantee and got my money back.
