Saved Me Hundreds $$$
Last year my primary pump was leaking during the second speed cycle, but not on the circulating cycle. Didn't have time to fix, so I spend some time looking for a replacement for a 2009 Cal Spa pump. For some reason it was hard to find one. Well this year after returning from a weekend trip in May 2024, I came home to find the spa was leaking water, with 1/2 of the spa water gone. Opened panel and could see the amount of water leaking. After calling and getting bids to fix, around $800 to $1200 to fix, I ended up doing my self (I'm in the middle of kitchen remodel, and had to fit this in). So did research, measuring, sizing, to ensure this would work - well low and behold - it did. Working great, saved me tons of money fit right in place. So far so good, no leaks and pump is operating correctly. So hopefully this will last another 14 years. Secondary pump still working, but know where to go if I need a replacement. Thanks.

Quiet and high quality
Great price at 158.00! Easy installation and quiet.

Does the job!
After having to adjust some setting on the control unit; the motor works fine. There are no leaks and it fits perfectly in the OEM motors mounts. It is a tad bit louder than the orginal and the water flow is a bit lower, but overall works great.

Noticeable low speed hum
The low speed pump produces a noticeable and much louder electrical hum than the prior pump. High speed masks the hum. If hearing a louder hum concerns you when the spa heats then pass on this one. I returned it and went for US built pump and it’s significantly quieter.

Had no power
Hooked this unit up in the hot tub. Low speed was super low. High wasn’t much better Started the “return” process. What a joke. It says in the return description I would be refunded once they received the pump back. Now I’m being told it takes over a month once they receive the pump back
