Smite Organice Red Mite De Powder For Use with pou Litrey and Livestock 350gm

Had a huge mite infestation in the coop, so the hens wouldn’t go in. Thoroughly cleaned everything with Poultry Shield and applied Smite liberally, changed bedding every week and reapplied Smite, including light dusting of hens and the mites had all gone after a three weeks - the first week there were loads of dead mites in the nest boxes, less in week two and none in week three.

Really good product, you need to apply every 5-6 days at least 3 times. Puff it into all the crevices and around the top of the coop as mites like to camp out under roofing felt. Dust the hens too, under wings and in their fluffy skirts too, getting powder right down to the skin to kill lice eggs. Excellent product, best I have used so far.

Big bottle lasts for ages and seems to keep red mite at bay. Not sure it works with other mites including feather mites.

I had booklices in the bookshelf and they were spreading around. By putting this powder on the side of the windows/skirting board we managed to kill the lices. It works perfectly and it's not toxic!

This well recommended insecticide powder is easy to apply to hens and their living quarters, goes quite quickly and I hope is effective as the red mites that I believe are causing my hens to endlessly scratch are about the size of this full stop . so I'm not certain they've all gone.

I thought it was working well for the first few times i used it. By the third / fourth time the mites seem to have built up a resistance! now it does nothing. I suggesting using it in combination with a spot-on.

Prior to trying this product I have always used a liquid wash only to clean my small chicken shed. I've found this product to be the most effective and very easy to use. It's like a big squeezable bottle of talcom powder. I still wash the shed out occasionally with a liquid but this powder is so easy to apply and I've not seem a mite since I started using it. Just apply to any crevices that are close to where the chickens normally sleep. I wore a mask when I did it as I know any type of dust is bad for you, I don't think there's any toxins in this product though so quite harmless to chickens and humans. Good luck.

Totally excellant product, did the job that 4-5 previous products (more expensive too) couldn't do. We had a mice problem and they were carrying mites that preferred human based food to rodent based lol. Thankfully both problems are dealt with but highly recommend this product. some reviews iv read on other products praise said item and turned out to be a total waste. BELIEVE ME THIS WORKS.... And it does the job fast. Will buy again if needed, thank you
