I bought these for running, and I've worn them a dozen times now. They are quite comfortable and fit me exactly as they're described - just above the knee. They're roomy enough that I have full freedom of movement while running without being baggy. These shorts also don't have that built-in underwear that many others do, which for me is a plus. These shorts are well made. The stitching is excellent and it is immediately obvious that the materials they're are made of are sturdy. They're also light and breathe nicely. I expect that they will last a long time. The waist is adjustable with a drawstring, and it also has an elastic band that ensures a snug but very comfortable fit. The big selling feature for me with these shorts is the fact that they have pockets, something that is weirdly absent from every other pair of running shorts I've ever owned and that I've wished my other pairs had. The pockets on these shorts are large enough for things in that you might want to bring with you, like your phone, an iPod or a slim wallet. The zippers that open and close them have a high quality feel and have been well laid so that they zip and unzip easily without snagging. I would definitely say these shorts are great value for the money and I will definitely be buying more of them.

These are excellent. They are lightweight, dry quickly and pockets are a good size with zips. The let me run comfortably with iPhone and keys in pockets.

Very inconsistent sizing. Already bought 3 pairs of these for my Son when he asked for a black pair for Xmas. He loves them for training and the gym and there's a good colour selection. All 3 pairs have been large so I ordered the same size for the fourth purchase. Unfortunately he wore them to the gym before telling me they were way too tight and couldn't work out in them, would have sent them back otherwise. Real shame because the shorts are great, just can't quite understand how size L can be so different so a bit of a waste of money on this particular occasion which kind of puts you off making future purchases.

Wanted shorts with a zip pocket to securely hold my phone, and these do perfectly. Lightweight but good quality material so great for the gym. Slightly longer than most shorts. Fit is fine as far as waist is concerned but not exactly roomy.

I normally wear medium shorts with a 32inch waist in my jeans. Amazon recommended I buy medium. I have ordered 2 pairs, 1 in Large and 1 in Medium and the Large is a much better fit. The Medium fits fine, but does feel a little tight. The material is stretchy so even the tighter Medium pair still allows me to Squat and Deadlift in the gym without feeling like my backsides about to be exposed.

The shorts are great, not just for running. The zippers are sturdy, solid and work well. Short are perfect for an athletic activity or for the gym.

These shorts are awesome!! I went for these as an alternative to most other outrageously priced exercise gear. Not only was I surprised at the value, also the quality. These shorts have already been great for almost any activity, the gym, a hike, they've even replaced my most trusted running shorts! Definitely worth a buy!!

Size Xl will fit 150 lb and 5.7 feet great, if you heavier than that, you'll need a bigger size!
