This has been a god send, for a while we have been trying to figure out a way to allow our cats to move round our home but not allow our dog to as well, while we are out. I didn’t want a big stair gate and I came across this. It works perfectly, it is discreet and the lock works well and is easy to use. The adhesive is good and we have been using it for a few months now with no issues. Great value for money product.

What a fantastic way to keep the door ajar! Comes with strong adhesive pieces that you can use instead of having to drill into your doorframe and door. Figured I’d try the adhesive first then drill if I had to. Well, it’s been several months and there’s been no need to use screws. It adjusts easily to allow for 3 different widths of door opening, and is simple release with one hand. It’s been a great solution to keep the dogs away from cat food and litter. Grateful! PS - It also worked great to allow the new cat time to adjust to dogs. She could see them through the cracked door, and after a few days, started venturing out on her own. This is really saying something for a formally feral cat.

This is a really well made door lock. It comes with the option to just use the stickers which come attached or it also comes with a pack of screws that can be used for more permanent attachment. Depending where you attach it on your door frame, the piece that sticks may over hang a little (given door frames are different sizes worldwide) but this won’t affect it staying put if you follow the instructions (wait 24 hours after sticking or use screws). The gap it leaves may not be quite as small as we need (we bought it to stop cats getting into a walk in robe and it may only work for the bigger of two cats but not the smaller). That said, we knew that the opening it leaves may be a little wide when buying it as all the reviews say it is great for keeping dogs out but allowing cats in. We might add another hole to allow us to close the door a bit more. As a child safety/pet restriction lock through, this is excellently made and is good value. Postage was also super fast (overnight).

Using it as a sliding door latch to keep my shower cubicle doors in place.
