Purchased to replace a Braun Series 3 that lasted 2 plus years before the battery would no longer hold a charge. Had to upgrade to this series 5 to get the same features. It is well made, easy to adjust trim levels, with good battery life. The accessories are easy to attach and work well Most importantly it does a great job of evenly trimming my beard. It is worth the additional cost of the Series 3.

This product is really of high quality and is easy to use. It makes cutting hair or trimming facial hair an enjoyable experience, especially because it is ergonomic due to its small size and light weight. It is also aesthetically pleasing. I give it four stars because it does not have a carrying case as the one that I bought seven years ago; and it cost more. It is also quiet -- more quiet that the pervious one.

Dry or wet use super easy to clean, clean cut. Good shape for elder hand, charged quick enough. The display didn't make sense to us. It always looked like it was at 60 % but maybe it meant ready to go!? Good quality!

I have had several beard trimmers over the years. The Braun is the best one yet. The hair guide works better in directing the hairs into the cutting head. I especially like the large range of hair length adjustment with just the turn of a dial. It also comes with a nose hair trimmer which works better than to others I have had. The other attachments work well, but I do not use them normally. It also came with a blade razor (which I never used) but I wish it came with a foil shaver instead. Over all it is a great beard trimmer. I highly recommend it.

I’ve had this trimmer for a couple of weeks now and honestly love it. I’ve gone through a bunch of different trimmers over the years, and this one might be my favorite. The adjustable guard settings are great. You can really dial in the length you want, and it's very consistent all around. Doesn't catch or pull on the hair either and it's surprisingly quiet. The build feels pretty sturdy overall. I saw a few reviews mention the adjustment wheel breaking, but I think as long as you're not rough with it, it should hold up just fine. The travel case is a nice bonus. One thing to note is the guard can fill up with hair pretty fast, so you might need to go over the same spot a couple of times. But it still works great. I also like that I can plug it in for a minute or two and get enough charge for a quick trim if I’m in a rush. Overall, happy with it and got it for a solid price.

As someone who cuts his own hair, I own a professional clipper and edger. When traveling for work, it's not ideal traveling with those machines. With that said, this machine is perfect for in-between haircut touch ups when traveling. It has a clever, all-in-one design that will keep you looking clean when on the go. If you're looking for this to replace your everyday clippers or to give you a barber sharp edge, this is not for you. This does exactly what I needed it to do with it's compact design, hard travel case, bag for attachments and good (not great) hair cutting capabilities. I found my travel companion! 5-stars.

I have been purchasing this Braun product for decades it feels like, and when the old one dies after many many years, I buy a new one. Why? The blade is sharp, the attachment is easy to use, and it fits nicely in my hand. This new one arrived and it looks redesigned from the older one I have. But that's ok, I'm ok with change... IF IT MAKES IT BETTER! This product was easy to use at first when I started doing the side of my beard, but then I got to my lower beard, and it was barely cutting it! Also, the change they made to the attachment on the top, wasn't allowing me to comfortably trim my mustache. I've already thrown the box out so I can't return it, but I will never purchase this brand again.
