Red Vines, Licorice Twists Mixed Berry, 4 Ounce

Great dye free, cleaner alternative for movie night! Classic licorice taste but somehow even better, in my opinion! Less waxy feeling, it’s very good.

I’m obsessed !!! The berry flavor is a little more complex than with the normal version (& it’s delicious). Yet it still gives you that classic redvines taste. I was expecting something that was only vaguely related to the classic redvines flavor and was so surprised and impressed by a subtle improvement (imo) of the original. The texture is a touch harder and chewier than a fresh redvine, closer to that slightly tougher chew that you get when they’re jussssst starting to go a a little stale. I personally love that texture, but if you only like them soft you might be disappointed. I’m on a very limited diet and it’s so nice to enjoy one of my childhood faves again 🥲

Nice alternative if you are trying to avoid dyes. The flavor is different than other licorice but it is a pleasant taste

These actually taste a little sweeter to me than the regular Red Vines. These use cane sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup and I think that makes the sweetness more immediate and sharp on my palate. The high fructose corn syrup ones taste (and looks) thicker/denser/heavier and doesn’t have artificial berry flavor as far as I can tell. Overall good but I still prefer the original flavor but to avoid all the unnecessary red dye, I’ll keep coming back with to these Made Simples.

As far as licorice goes, this one's very pleasant. I grew up with Twisler's and this is my first time trying Red Vines. I like it, I'd be happy with either brand. I like that the Red Vines licorice has a unique texture and light gummy characteristics. The flavor isn't overbearing and is pleasing. Definitely worth a try if you've never tried them before.

kind of tastes like toothpaste if you eat them normally. however if you put them in your fridge they taste nearly identical to the regulars

SUCKS. DO NOT VAGUELY RESEMBLE THE RED VEINS OF YOR. PALE. ANEMIC IN COLOR. LARGE HOLE DOWN CENTER. USED TO GET YOUR MONEYS WORTH NOW YOU GET A BIG BOX WITH TINY ANEMIC STRINGS IN THEM. NO COLOR. NO FLAVOR. DRY AND HARD. NO LONGER JUICY AND FLAVORFUL. A REAL RIP OFF AND IMBARRASSMENT TO THE ORIGINAL PRODUCT. IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY THE ORIGINAL DEVELOPED ITS FLAVOR DURING ITS PRODUCTION NO FLAVORS ADDED. SO REFUND MY MONEY AND LET ME BUY SOMETHING ELSE. STOP HOODWINKING THE PUBLIC. You are ruining the candy businesses image. Try honesty and production as it was in past.

So yummy. Glad the big candy company’s are truly phasing out the dyes. This is natural and everything I want in Red Vines!! Great for dieters, or calorie counters, who needs something sweet but don’t want to jigger the diet! I love them, and plan on ordering more and lots!!🏆🏆🏆
