Subaru Tested: I bought this Magnelex sunshade in June 2025 specifically for my 2018 Subaru Outback, and it fits great. As you can see in my photo, it provides excellent coverage and stays secure under the visors. • Temperature Control: It makes a massive difference in lowering the internal temperature. It was a lifesaver during the hottest months last summer, and I’m still using it every day. • Long-Term Performance: Since I've owned this for nearly a year, I can confirm it holds up. This windshield sunshade does exactly what I was hoping it would do. It's easy to unfold, fits well across the windshield, and noticeably helps keep the inside of the vehicle cooler when it's parked in the sun. The material feels durable, and it does a good job blocking sunlight to help protect the dashboard and interior from excessive heat. When I'm done using it, it folds back up without much trouble and stores easily in the included pouch. Overall, this is a simple product that works well and makes a noticeable difference on hot days. If you're looking for an easy way to reduce heat inside your vehicle, this is a solid choice.

This is truly an awesome product. It is made of quality material and workmanship. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because there is a learning curve to folding it up once it's open. However, there is a card included with a QR on it that takes you to a video with detailed instructions for folding the sunshade. I purchased the large size for my 2014 Buick Verano. At first I thought it was too big, but with a little adjusting it fits perfectly. Would definitely recommend it.

I did go by the chart they have turned out to be a little to big for my Nissan Sentra , I contacted the company itself and they had a quick response and sent me the right size for it which fits great, definitely cooler like the style of it, covers my windshield good,

If you have a Nissan Murano size suv, this MEDIUM will not fit all around, there is a huge gap either on the bottom or the top , depending on how you set it, this will not fully fit the whole windshield.. The only good thing is that it is heavy duty feel. I just end up giving this my mom who owns a smaller suv and it fits perfect, but not for my suv.

When the temps crept into the triple digits over the last month I needed something to not have my car as warm as an oven when I got out of work. I grabbed this durable lightweight sunshade and I must say my car isn’t as hot as it was when the sun was glaring directly into the car. It was compatible with my car as promised with the feature in the Amazon app. It looks great not like some cheap visor. It’s kinda hard to put back in its case but it can fold down safely into the back seat when not in use. Also it’s great for those mid day naps and provides a sense of safety when sleeping in your car.

I've ordered this for our newly purchased used Highlander that will be parked outside in a hot summer environment. I've had previously used poorly fitted sun shields that were way too small, or just didn't sit in the windshield properly. My purchase criteria was to find one that covered the whole windshield without any gaps. I ordered this sun shield based on the product description and the fact that it had various sizes. I input my 2008 Toyota Highlander in and it said the Large size would fit. I ordered this in the evening and it arrived the next day, so I was able to use it immediately. Overall, the sunshield did in fact fully covered the windshield in my Highlander. I was able to block out all of the sun light, except for a small patch by the rear view mirror. If there is one flaw, it is that there is not a cutout to go around the stem of the rear view mirror. So what happens is that you just have to push down the cloth where the rear view mirror stem goes and make sure to minimize the size of the opening to prevent any more light from entering the car. But that is a minor thing, considering the shield fully blocks the sun at the edges of the windshield. After using it, the car did still feel warm inside, but significantly cooler than without the sun shield. The sunshield also includes a little cover for the steering wheel. There is a flap at the top of the cover that you can slide over the top of the steering wheel. To be honest, it looks a little funky when the steering cover is installed and I'm not quite sure that little cover is all that functional other than advertise the brand of the sunshield. You could get away with not using it. The main benefit really comes from a well fitted sun shield that keeps the car cool, prevents sun damage to the top of the dashboard, and the effects of sun on the seats. Folding this shield can be tricky. I read the instructions, but you are better off watching the video on the Amazon product page. You have to fold the sun shield in half first (the right half and the left half), then with the two halves on top of one another, do the twisting thing. I was able to do it somewhat successfully, although most of the time I'm just going to take the sunshield, fold it in half, and throw it into the backseat. I wanted to order a sunshield for my other cars. However, it said that those cars (Camry, Lexus GS450h) also needed a six Large sunshield. I've seen some reviews from Camry owners that said the Large was too big and they ordered the Medium. I have taken this Large size sunshield and tried it on my Lexus GS450h. Although I made it fit, it was clearly a little too large. The vertical dimension was perfect, but the horizontal dimension (length) was too long. In this case, if you have a GS450h or a Camry, the medium size would be a better choice.

We live in a state with very hot summers (High 90’s) and little cloud cover. And we park our car in the driveway, do it’s very important to have a good, easy to use sun screen. I looked for one that fit my car (Subaru Outback), reasonably priced, easy to install, and covers the windshield completely. This one checks all the squares. I like the fact that it has a very useful mid-top feature that fits around the rear view mirror. The external color is white (repels sunlight), while the inside is black. And it is easily foldable to put back in its zipper case. Highly recommend

Product did not fit properly in my Innova Hycross. The seller also has no return policy, which made it a waste of money for me. Please note that this product may not fit all cars as mentioned. Very disappointed with the purchase. 👎👎👎

I've been using the Magnelex Car Windshield Sunshade with the bonus steering wheel cover for a while now, and I'm genuinely impressed. My 2026 Toyota Grand Highlander sits parked outside all day in direct sun, and getting into a scorching hot car was becoming a real problem not anymore. The sunshade fits the Grand Highlander's wide windshield surprisingly well. It covers the entire glass with no major gaps, which means the dashboard, seats, and center console stay noticeably cooler even after hours in the sun. The difference when you open the door is immediate. Folding it up takes a little practice at first, but once you get the hang of the twist-fold method, it's quick and easy. It packs neatly into the included storage bag, which I keep right under the front seat.

Would be nice to have a strap to fit around the rear view mirror but it is compact when folded and very effective.
