So very impressed with their comfort and fitting. Excellent value for money.
I have bought several pair s of footwear from Fitville, all of them meeting my expectations of comfort, durability and fitting. The fitting is especially important for me, needing extra wide and 9.5 UK in size. I did remove the internal fitted insole, the podiatrist I see makes my custom orthotics and they fit a treat. The podiatrist also remarking how good and supportive these hiking shoes seem to be. Well, I have worn them every single day for several months now. They appear to be as good as the day they were bought. No, I do not go hiking, but my feet have remained dry if they have been wet. The grips are great and, after several months of use they show little sign of wear. Fitville have been excellent in the past at offering support. Please see my photos. I absolutely do recommend these for every day use and I would not hesitate to buy again from this company. I do hope that this review has helped you. EDIT: Just to add after further wearing of these, daily, I have now worn them several times in light rain BUT also where the terrain is wet. What I mean it wet grass that leaves the trainers wet all over. However, my feet have been kept dry on each occasion. These trainers, for comfort and durability, continue to impress me.

A half size above the recommendation could have been ok
I bought a one size larger than the recommendation and that fits me well. Quality seems good and are certainly slip resistant. The shoes provide good cushioning and are very comfortable,

Very impressed.
I have to admit that I was skeptical about these before ordering as I have been using Clarke's shoes pretty much all my life. However, my usual shoes seemed to be getting more and more restrictive, I don't know if they changed the way they're made or if its my feet spreading, so I ordered these. I was amazed at the difference. They are so much more comfortable and they were true to size. They fitted perfectly and there was no "wearing in" process. They are very well made. I'm very impressed with these shoes and will be my go to brand from now on. Sorry Clarke's, you've been booted.

Functional shoes
I bought these just over a year ago in July 2025 for work. My work is mostly office based and walking between buildings, so needed to have some grip for winter and be impermeable to water - and wipeable. I usually wear Sketchers, but was looking for something more cost effective and hard wearing, as my last pair lasted just over a year - tread wore out and were slippery in snow or heavy rain. I was really skeptical about buying these Fitville’s having not heard of them before, but the price, discount and delivery time ticked all the boxes. They also appeared to fit my criteria for grip and being waterproof. So, I took the plunge and bought them! My experience so far: Delivery was next day, as expected - so all good there! Looks - very chunky looking and the construction material is clearly synthetic. Nothing fancy, but functional and appropriate for going to work in. I am also glad that I went for the extra wide fit as anything less may have been tight. They do weigh more than Sketchers and office type shoes, but they’re for outdoor use - so not excessive when this is considered. I noticed it initially, but by end of day one it was not particularly noticeable. They are definitely waterproof and wipeable so I’m happy about that. Comfort - they needed a couple of hours wear to feel just right. They are not very breathable on the downside - I would not recommend them for outdoor hiking or walks due to this. They can make your feet hot as well, so summer was a bit sweaty, but in winter this was a plus! They are comfortable and I haven’t had achy feet as they’re well cushioned. In the photos you’ll note the insoles - they looked like this almost straightaway. Which did make me worry about longevity, but fortunately it’s just aesthetics as function isn’t affected. Soles have shown some wear, but nothing overly concerning to me and there is some cracking now towards the forefoot - appears superficial. The synthetic upper - I have polished them to keep them looking fresh (they’re not polished in these photos) and they buff up nicely. But you’ll note some damage to the material around the toes. I do not know how these scuffs and cuts have happened - I’m indoors most of the day. I’d recommend they look into this as it does affect the look of the shoe, making them look scruffy. Overall I’d buy them again, but they need to sort a few things out: breathability, insoles, scuffs to toes and maybe making the soles a little more hard wearing. Price is definitely a plus, at under £50. I’ve now seen some of their more expensive offerings, £80+ and while these shoes have peaked my interest I’m not sure that I would pay that much unless I was confident that the niggles that I’ve experienced with my current pair of shoes were ironed out.

Second pair…
My second pair so that’s a recommendation. First pair were nylon top and still available; this pair is faux-leather (plastic). The issue with these shoes is that if you have high arch, they are a struggle to get your feet in. You need to loosen laces, stretch and probably use a shoe horn as the heel grip is quite tight. Once your feet are inside, the shoes are very comfortable. My first pair after miles of field and track walking are nearing their end (although Gorilla glue has helped lengthen their stay!) However, the second pair are receiving complaints about mud. The tread is deeper than the first pair and holds mud which when dry falls off in characteristic patterned clumps (so I can’t blame the dog). No other boot or walking shoe in decades of walking sheds mud like these. Hose soles before putting away.

Nice wide shoes.
Great shoes. The double wide is a great-fit for my wide feet with plenty of toe room. Ideal for winter as they keep socks dry. I don’t think I’ll be wearing them during summer though, unless it’s raining. Just a sturdy comfy shoe.

Room for my bunion. Seem solid and High Quality. Comfortable.
I just got my 11.5 X-wide. They fit my 10.5-11 size with room, but not too much room to be a problem. I have a monster sized bunion, and wish I would have worn wide-toed shoes like these my whole life. I put on my toe-speaders and it seems like I still have enough room, so maybe I can start reversing the damage I did with 30-years of WingTips in IBM! They seem to be top-notch quality, and I am thinking I will be a happy hiker on my upcoming 80-day camping road trip 10 National Parks. Maybe it's me, but I think they come laced wrong. I had to re-lace them so I could cinch them up.

Bred och stor sko perfekt för skoinlägg i bra kvalitet.
Snygg lättskött sko med rejäl sula, bra snörning. men relativt tung och kan upplevas lite hal ändå på glatt underlag.
