Can a person seat on the lid? How hard lid is? Is it slow close both lid and seat?

I do sit on the lid and has my husband,!he is 6' and roughly 175 lbs.. The entire piece is constructed of a very hard plastic. Both the lid and the seat close slowly.. I will add that I absolutely love this feature!

I just purchased and installed this toilet seat. The seat is slow close but the lid is not. Do I need to do something or is that how it comes?

I had to send mine back, the lid would NOT stay up for normal use, when you went to wipe it closed on your back. Worst toilet seat ever. I bought a Big John, love it.

How tall are the bumpers? I’m looking for a very tight close to eliminate splashing.
