Ryzensets 9 7900 Processor (radeon graphics integrated, 12 cores/24 threads, 65W TDP, AM5 Socket, Cache 76MB, up to 5.4 GHz max boost, wraith prism cooler)

Did i need 12 cores no Did I need the x version no This processor is great yes I could get better gaming performance if id gone for (at the time of purchase) equally prices 7800x yes however I didnt only build my system to game it built so I could game and multitask in comfort which this cpu does perfectly fine it doesn't strain it self and it isnt overkill exactly what I was after

I chose this processor after I read poor reports about issues with intel 13 and 14th gen chipsets. and I built a decent sound studio PC for my daughter with AMD chips. I spent some time reading reviews and felt this was a decent enough chip to future-proof my machine to cater for my purely office needs and hopefully should last me 10 years. My current 9-year-old Win10 box is more than adequate for my needs but is unable to upgrade to Win 11 and the only reason I've built a new machine. I have to say I'm not impressed with Win 11 Pro. This chip along with my ram should allow me to create several virtual machines and run them at a reasonable lick

Super processor. I bought it music production in Ableton live. It can run hundreds of tracks at a time, loaded with plugins and it only shows 50% cpu load! Holy smoke!

I build computers for living so I know a lot about them. What is getting to me I use some of the older AMD fx 64-bit black core edition chips and because of a set of instruction's it simply won't work for windows 11! The last build of 10 yes but not 11. The FX core or CPU is more than capable speed wise it's just a money-making thing. I remember when AMD k2 fitted intel boards vice versa and the AMD was way ahead of time as in speed say intel was 200mhz and AMD was 500mhz fsb and it was cheaper also more stable. Ok we have come a long way since, but prices keep going up socket changes etc. Could go on for ever. I have heard great things about this CPU the ryzen 9 so when fully built will give a review. But just because windows 11 won't work on an am3 fx don't get rid as can run linix so food for thought for some or run on win 10 with latest antivirus and so on. people ask me all the time what the best secure system is! No system is 100% secure and with deep AI it's going to be more challenging let's say. But will give full review after built. Only concerning issue so far, I have read it uses a lot of wattage in oc mode. close to 200w so will see! As for chip comes with cooler looks solid and hope for gaming capability's it has changed in design as amd were stating say a quad core well it has two physical dies cores slit so it sees 4 logical cores. Many thanks. But will state big jump in terms of am3 fx 2013 approximately date of manufacture and ryzen am5 2022 - So multitasking should be a breeze. Thanks again. Well moving on running the Ryzen 9 And omg it's a very fast CPU for money and coupled with enough ram and gpu oh it shifts as in moves run multiple things leaves Amd fx chips on the ground seriously so yeah really happy.
