Flat Waxed Cotton Shoe Laces for Boots & Dress Shoes, Shoe Strings

I bought these as a replacement for my Thursday Cadet flat waxed laces. The stock laces shredded at the eyelets in several places within the span of the first 8 hours of wear. I have had these in since then and have worn these boots to the office everyday for a month and had no issues so far. Absolutely recommend these if you are looking for replacement laces. They are a good color match for the Thursday cadets as well, and by extension any non-matte black Thursday boots.

I have ordered a number of the lace pairs from this seller and given 5 stars each time, this time however, they came, and the "waxing" was barely there. Previous orders for black and also blue laces were perfectly "waxed" i.e. sufficiently stiff to pass through the eyelets and regain their flat profile, these just weren't "waxed" enough ( these are light gray ) they folded and remain center-creased :( I'm guessing this is a Q.C. issue and hope that you will not receive the same. Just be forewarned it a possibility. The color is perfect for my application, and otherwise they are great laces. But due to the lack of "waxing" I'm giving 4 out of 5 stars.

These look great on my Camper Pelotas. Good quality - I recommend and will purchase additional colors and lengths for other shoes/boots.

Aside from staying tied, they totally changed the whole vibe of the shoe.

Why do I love these things so much? They're just great. I go through shoelaces somehow, pulling them hard as I put my boots on. These are great, try the red, too!

Boot laces look well made and I had high hopes for them. However, one lace broke within 10 days and the other broke after 30 days. Since then both have broken in multiple places. This might work for most boots but if your boots have raised metal eyelets, I recommend looking at a different type.

Where is the wax? Just cotton which will eventually fray. Disappointed!

Bought these to replace my short laces on my soccer cleats. They were perfect. And the laces hold a knot very tight. No signs of wear and tear now playing in muddy grass for weeks.

Las cintas llegaron en una bolsa sencilla. El largo esta bien como debe ser pero se sienten delgadas y personalmente las hubiera preferido mas anchas. Por el precio estan bien. Llevo casi un mes usandolas de forma regular, me gusta abrocharme las citas ajustadas y hasta ahora talvez rasgandolas un poco con los ojillos metalicos pero hasta ahora estan bien. Las recomiendo por el precio pero no esperen lo mejor del mundo por el precio.
