These recessed LED lights exceeded our expectations. Installation was quick and easy, the selectable color temperatures are a great feature, and they provide bright, even lighting. The ultra-thin design fits perfectly in tight spaces and gives the room a clean, modern look. Excellent quality for the price, and I would definitely purchase them again.

I've installed a lot of lighting like this, so I'm definitely not new to the product nor the procedure. I've got to say that I'm a bit impressed with the quality of these -- they're comparable to what you might buy at the big-box home improvement chains in every way, but at a fraction of the cost. They were packaged very well, and not a single problem with any of them -- no crumpled gaskets, no twisted wires, no bent housings, no missing or broken parts. The installation experience was identical for each one, no troubles at all. More importantly, their performance is outstanding. The light throw is very thorough and even with absolutely no hot spots or shadows. And I am a bit impressed with their light output -- they're BRIGHT! And what I mean by that is they make more than enough light for their size, so it won't take many to evenly light a given space or room. The only complaint I have is on the diameter. They're Ø6.7", and they recommend cutting a 6.25" hole, leaving less than 1/4" of a lip for the light to hold onto. That leaves virtually no room for error, so if you plan to cut the hole by hand, be very, very, VERY careful that you undercut (and use a utility knife with a fresh blade rather than a keyhole saw). If you use a hole saw, the ones designed for 6" recessed lighting are usually 6-3/8", so you're in dangerous waters if you use one of those. In any case for drywall, if you somehow crumble or tear the edge of your hole, it WILL be visible when the light is installed. I used an adjustable hole saw (a Klein 53710), which could be adjusted in 1/4" increments, so I was able to cut the recommend size hole without any error, but it took a little effort to line up the light in the hole to make sure there were no visible gaps. Overall, this is an excellent buy. i can't speak on the longevity, of course, but given the overall quality and performance, I expect that these will last for many years.

So far, so good. Bought these because the electrician said to get these to replace (FINALLY) the old fluorescent lights in the basement. Excellent price and easy for him to install. One light replaced one fluorescent monster and is equal to a 75 watt bulb. Bright enough that we’re putting dimmer switches in. Simple design that sits flush in ceiling tiles. 4th picture is with 2 lights on and 5th picture is with 4 lights to show brightness. Only drawback, electrician says the driver (ballast) will need replacing before the lights burn out, but that will be far in the future.

I have installed a number of these lights and it is very easy to work with them. I would recommend cutting the off the quick connectors and just using standard wire twists for reliability and safety. Also don't forget to use metal box clamps when running wires into the boxes. The lights works exactly as described. They are the thickness of 1/2 drywall and can fit underneath floor joists and ceiling beams. That means you can pretty much install them anywhere you want without having to worry about the location of overhead timbers. The other really nice feature is the selector switch. Some of these lights are fixed and if you get one that is too bright you are stuck. These lights make it very easy to select different intensities which also affects the color tone of the light. The connector (junction + DC converter) boxes are metal and can be placed in insulation based on the instructions. The pigtail connectors are standard low voltage connectors and make it easy to connect or remove the LED light portion. The only compliant I have is the little metal box lid is not as sturdy as I would like to see. The hinge just snaps shut with no screw. I would like to see an optional screw to keep that lid shut as a preventive measure. Also you might have 1 out of a box of 12 that contains a defective pigtail adapter. But they are so low cost and work so well I am OK with a few defective lights. I highly recommend ordering a hole saw that is the exact size you need so they fit snug in the drywall. I ordered a really nice hole saw and a dust bowl also on Amazon. They both work really well to create the exact size holes I needed so the lights fit very snug and look good on the ceiling. I have not tested the lights with a dimmer yet but as with any LED light you have to get a compatible dimmer switch or you will see issues. === 2025 Update After 3+ Years of Extensive use So I mounted these lights in multiple rooms in my home and they are still going strong without any failures. I do have replacements I kept in the event one fails so I can easily replace them with an original light to keep the same hue and hole size in the ceiling. But so far so good!

Really impressed with these lights. The brightness is excellent and they make a big difference in the space. Installation was straightforward and everything worked perfectly. The quality is great for the price, and having different color temperature options is a nice bonus. I would definitely buy again and recommend to others.

I have submitted a review on this same brand name with very high ratings. The product I reviewed earlier features a night light mode. You can find that review somewhere near this one. This version does NOT have night light mode, but I bought these for my garage/shop and didn't think that the romantic, mood lighting was all that necessary. (I mean, who could resist, "Hey, baby wanna see my table saw?") All the very positive things I had to say about the other version apply equally here. These are wonderful lights. I installed eight of them in my shop to augment the existing single LED, and I am able to work out there quite comfortably. It is VERY bright. It took a couple of hours to put in all eight and hook them up. I even added a separate switch for these so I could use the garage overhead light alone when I didn't need the extra foot-candles. Set the color temperature to 5000K and put on your shades!!

We put these all over our house and I absolutely love them. My husband is an electrician so it but he said even a novice could figure it out they are super easy to install and because they’re adjustable and he Britney’s was perfect. I prefer white lighting and my husband prefers warm so we went with warm in the bedrooms and white in the living spaces. The color adjustment were perfect. I liked the dimmable brightness and they have been super reliable so far. We put them in a year ago.
