These are the best toenail clippers I’ve ever owned. They are super sharp, easy to manipulate, and the swivel end is very helpful. I have some hand strength issues and due to the sharpness of the blades and the form of the handle, it cuts through was very little effort.

I purchased this product on a lark thinking it was just another nail clipper with a gimmick. Well it’s not. It one of the best nail chippers I’ve ever owned. It’s very sharp, easy to use and the maneuverable blade makes it even more effective and convenient to use. It’s also well designed and crafted from high quality materials. It’s expensive but …it’s good.I also like that it works equally well for clipping my toenails. I’m very pleased with this product and would purchase it again and recommend it to friends and family.

It works well and is super sharp. I initially thought the rotating head was just a gimmick, but the more I use it, the more I appreciate it.But super expensive. I think if I had just replaced my ancient and much cheaper Trim clipper with a new one, it might be equally sharp. (But I haven't tested that theory).I took off one star because of confusing country of origin. On the front of the box It's called swissker by Swissklip with a cross in the logo, like a Swiss flag. It also says "Designed in Germany" on the front. Though no mention of German steel. On the back of the box in small letters "Made in China". So I guess everything is disclosed but Euro origins justifying Euro pricing is certainly implied.

Just received the clippers. From an examination, they appear high quality and easy to grip. On a test only of fingernails, they functioned vary well; the rotation function seems helpful. There will be a learning curve needed to take full advantage of the full features. They did cut easily, but there is a warning to be careful because of the sharpness of the cutter blades (I was, and didn't nick myself). There are some reviews that said there could be design changes with indentations to lock the rotation in place (probably a good idea), but the rotating cutter head is somewhat stiff and held its position well. Have not tried them on toenails yet; the opening seems a bit small for someone has thicker nails than normal.

I was a little skeptical of this when I ordered it, but it is in fact a very innovative design that takes the stodgy Nail Clipper in a new direction. The ability to swivel the cutting head to any angle from the gripper arms makes it possible to more easily reach any of your toes. And even though it says that it is designed primarily for fingernails, it turns out to be a very good toenail clipper as well. It's a little slippery in the grip area, so you need to have a good grip on it, and be careful about getting in too close to the nailbed, as the cutting edges are very sharp (which also makes it a better tool for the job)! It's a bit pricey for a nail clipper, but it is very well made and should last a long time!

These really work! First of all, extremely sharp. Second, the extended length makes it very easy to do your toes. Third, the swivel cutting head IS GENIUS and makes total sense. It’s not cheap, but this is German engineering at its best and worth every penny. Stay away from the knockoffs!!! If you want nail clippers that work extremely well and will last a lifetime, BUY THESE!
