Lovely quality, heat coverage and non warping.
Great pan. First thing you feel, out of the box, is the quality of this product. You can use metal utensils in it if you're careful, without scratching the non-stick. The heat is consistent in all parts of the pan. One of the most important things i wanted in a frying pan is non-warping. I have a Tefal non-warping pan and it warped, oil moves from the centre to the outer edge, so far this WMF has not. I'm docking it a star because of the "honeycomb" non-stick. When you fry eggs, which I do a lot of, the gap (which is very fine) between the honeycomb non-stick are not non-stick. This means that eggs do not quite do that non-stick thing you get with total coverage. Especially so if the pan is fairly dry of oil.

One the better frying pans I've had
Although it's early days I'm pretty impressed with this as a pan for sauteing meat and fish etc. The special metal mesh surface is supposed to protect the non-stick finish. Good even heat distribution, good weight, easy to clean..It does say on the instructions that it's not so good for egg and flour based dishes (not mentioned in the blurb) i guess becuase of the mesh finish but I've cooked a couple of omelettes without problems, I have two identical WMF "casserole" pans which are used all the time and look to be very hard wearing so I'm hoping this will be just as good and last a good few years.

It looks so good as I open the box. Heat evenly and the weight is about right. The only reason that I mark this one 4 star is because the stain on it is difficult to wash up.

Je cherchais une nouvelle poêle tous feux et je me suis laissée tenter par celle-ci. Elle semble de très bonne qualité, un peu lourde mais elle reste facilement maniable. Elle est même esthétique avec son fond alvéolaire un peu particulier. Le fond anti-adhérent est efficace, les aliments ne collent pas une fois la poêle bien bien chaude. Elle permet de bien faire revenir toutes sortes d'aliments. Le prix est un peu élevé mais si elle tient ses promesses, ce sera un bon investissement !
