I recently used Johnstone’s Wood & Metal Satin Finish paint on a few radiators and some wooden furniture, and I’m very impressed. The brilliant white colour is crisp and even, giving a professional-looking finish. The non-drip formula makes application smooth and stress-free, and it dries quickly in 1–2 hours, which is perfect when working on multiple pieces. I also appreciate the low odour, making it much more pleasant than other paints I’ve used in the past. Coverage is excellent — about 8m² per litre — and the water-based formula makes clean-up easy. Overall, it’s a high-quality paint that delivers great results with minimal hassle. I’ll definitely be using it for future projects. Verdict: 5/5 — Easy to apply, quick drying, low odour, and fantastic coverage. Perfect for radiators, wood, and metal.

Used this on interior doors and it gave a really clean, fresh finish. Two coats were enough to cover properly, which was good. The paint went on smoothly and didnt leave many brush marks especially when applied properly. Drying time was reasonable, but you do need to wait between coats for best results. Only downside is it can be slightly thick, so using a good brush or roller helps. Overall, a solid option for refreshing doors without needing loads of coats. Thumbs up

Not non drip. Bright white goes on well.but soon stopped being non drip.. dried quickly with no smell

Genuine customer,I have never painted radiators before so was dubious however needn't have worried.Purchased this Johnsons water based paint going on reviews l had read,It went on like a dream ,No runs nice smooth finish but most of all doesn't look like radiator is painted.a little goes a long way.highly recommend,great price,cheaper than purchasing a new radiator.

Great quality good size really good for painting the stairs because it's a anti slip paint dries really quickly so if your happy to use this paint I totally recommend it

Absolutely fantastic!! Coverage is brilliant!! Painted 4 garden chairs, 2 reclining chairs and a garden table (two coats) and still got just under half a tin left. Great finish and no rubbing down!

Great product

Ha Ha Ha non-drip it is NOT. Drips left right & centre making a complete mess. So glad I had the good sene to mask the steps. Low odor, yes. Quick drying, not especially. Best to wait until next day to apply yet another coat. Just hope there's enough now to complete the job. Jut applied 2nd coat & still think it will need at least 1, 2 or maybe 3 more coats on wooden stair risers that were freshly prepared.
