I love this product! I bake and decorate cakes for others, and this clear vanilla has excellent fĺavor. When my customer requests a white cake decorated with white buttercream icing, this clear vanilla is the way to go, especially when a bride orders a wedding cake that is iced white-white. A bit more expensive than other brands out there, but worth every penny. I think this review marks the 14th or 15th time I have purchased the Watkins clear vanilla from Amazon.

This is the best product out there for the best price. This beats any other big box store or wholesaler warehouse. I use this for my baking breads, cakes, muffins, Banana Bread. It actually tastes amazing. I have gotten Wally world brand before and tasted it. And it tasted like alcohol. You\n Get a big plastic bottle and it lasts 3 times as long for half the cost of what you would pay for nasty stuff at the grocery store. This is non-gmo, no artificial colors, no artificial flavors. This is from all natural ingredients, it's gluten, free and kosher. This is unlike high alcohol vanilla extracts. This is an award-winning low alcohol. Bake proof freeze proof formula that retains great flavor and does not evaporate. When you're baking or freezing, you will still have an amazing smooth melt in your mouth, vanilla taste. This company has been around since 1868. They haven't been around for that long. Because they make a bad product, they've been around that long because they know exactly what they're doing. The bottle is super cool looking too I just wish they would put it in glass instead of plastic would be my only request, pure vanilla and it's a rich flavor great product. Good company, 5 stars. It's easy to use & super high concentration. as soon as you take the lid off, You get an amazing scent. It smells like fresh vanilla in your house.

Watkins does have great extracts! This was almond extract which is delicious both in cakes and icings. I partiularly like a little almond extract in my coffee. It gives the coffee an amaretto taste.///I gave this 4 stars because on one occassion I was sent the wrong extract(not this time.) I decided to keep that extract and use when I was able in cakes. I would have those who pack these items to pay very close attention to the specific extract ordered. Thank you!

I needed some vanilla flavoring I looked around for a little bigger bottle and clear in color! Well this bottle is a great size bottle it’s clear and ease to use! It’s very versatile! No leakage with good cap. Flavor true to taste

This is not a product review as much as it is a packaging review. The Watkins products are always the highest quality and a joy to bake with. My concern is the way Amazon is now packaging liquids, such as this butter extract. It used to be that Amazon would seal the bottle in a plastic bag before they put it in the cardboard box. Any more, they are not packaging it in the plastic bag which I have had more than a few bottles leak which means I have to send them back and wait for the new bottle to come, which very rarely is in a plastic bag to protect it from spillage. This time I opened the package and the cap was completely off, but fortunately the foil seal stayed intact, and there was no leakage. Amazon, go back to taking pride in packaging liquid bottles securely to prevent further accidents.

I’ve always trusted Watkins products—my grandmother and mother swore by them, so I do too. Whenever I find their high-quality items, I choose their brand over others. I love adding a couple of dashes of vanilla extract to my coffee with cream; it tastes so much better than those artificial flavors found in refrigerated coffee creamers. Sure, you can find real vanilla extract at Costco for a better price, but when I’m not planning a trip there, this Amazon find is a lifesaver. .
