Perfect
Perfect and best gift I ever gifted myself. Easy to read and has a sect where every passage is explained. I only wish it wasn't a hard cover Bible, but then a good buy.

Lovely quality study bible
Beautiful study bible. My first bible so I’m hoping to find it easy to learn and understand. Bought because of all the positive reviews. I have added labels to make it easier to find chapters.

It's not bad
The Bible is fantastic. Love all the details and footnotes. The only problem is, the pages are so lightweight, which means it should be used with care. Although, it's not meant to be carried around anyhow since it's a study bible. So the lightweight page isn't such a big deal.

私の英語聖書遍歴の終着点
私は英語聖書が大好きだ。歴史と伝統がある分、訳がとてもこなれており、日本語聖書では分からなかった意味が分かることもある。英語圏の聖書の市場規模は巨大で、様々な優れた聖書があふれていて、どれを選べばよいか困るほどだ。特にこういう詳細な注解、膨大なコラムその他が付いたスタディバイブルは日本には存在しない（フランシスコ会訳聖書は注解が詳しいだけで、英語圏のスタディバイブルとは異質なものである）。NIV、NRSV、KJV、ESV、NAB、REB、エルサレム・・どの翻訳を選ぶべきかも迷うが、私は、日本語新共同訳とNKJVが対照になったギデオン聖書から聖書の世界に足を踏み入れたことから、NKJVには思い入れがあり、NKJVを選んだ。特にこのスタディバイブルは女性向けであり、聖書に出てくる多くの女性についてのあまりにも豊富な解説や、女性のキリスト者のためのコラムなどが極めて多数掲載されており、男性にとっても非常に得るところが多い。本文以外のこうした解説やエッセイの多さには驚愕を禁じ得ない。もちろん私にはNKJVを理解するだけの英語力はなく、GNBがやっと読める程度だが、NKJVのような本格的な英語聖書を手元に置いて、折に触れてパラパラ読むことはこの上なく幸せな時間である。男である私は当然女性が好きだから、表紙に「WOMAN」と大きく書かれていることも嬉しい。この聖書が私の英語聖書遍歴の決定版であり、終着点となると思う。本のサイズは大きく、重さも1Kgはあるだろう。持ち運ぶのではなく、自宅でじっくり読むべき聖書だ。
