I was needing to protect the hallway carpet while getting skirting and about 16,754 doorways painted...this stuff worked a treat! Who knew 'sellotaping' yer carpet could be so much fun! Would definitely recommend having two people to apply it, imagine you were trying to lay out cling film...only it's sticky! Easy enough to place and move position before fully pressing into place. Had it laid down for a few days, zero issues when I pulled it up, the carpet is pretty old and well trodden but it gave it a bit of a 'fluff up' when removing the film. Thickness of the film was great, double it up in places just because I had enough left. Painter was delighted when he saw it, no phaffing about with dust sheets!

Would have been a 5 star review but the smell from the plastic wasn’t very nice and I’m not moaning for the sake of it. Top tip use in a well ventilated area to reduce the odour Very easy to use, easy removal and no residue as we only had it down for 24 hrs

Bought to protect a hall carpet and cloakroom toilet during a kitchen refit. As per other reviews it does take 2 people to roll it out - but knowing this we found it really easy to lay. It is tacky but not sticky, it traps some air bubbles that make a squelching noise as you walk over it but you get used to it. We had it down for 3 weeks and it kept out all dust and grit. We liked the clear cling film like appearance (no advertising slogans) and it was easy to take up again without marking the carpet, in fact it looked so spotless we wondered if it had done a clean on the carpet.

Don’t waste your money can’t even open the seal on it item is cheap and not fit for purpose please don’t buy this item

Doesn't stick all that great

Did the job. Protected the carpet while I had work done. No dirty tracking from boots. Pleased. Sticks well. Good value.
