Samsonite Omni 2 Pro Hardside Expandable Luggage with Spinner Wheels, PRO 2PC SET (CO/M), Arctic Silver

These suitcases have been on a couple of trips with us so far and we've been pleased. They are nice looking and hold up well to flights. The smaller one is carry on and we've had no one question the size. The bigger one was accidently put on the wrong plane but we eventually got it back with no damage. Very pleased with the value.

Super pair. Value was excellent. Love the spinners and makes moving through the airport much easier.

I have been buying Samsonite luggage exclusively for the past 30+ years. Loved every single purchase without exception. This is a good looking set. HOWEVER, the carry on is suitable for a child, not an adult for even a two-day, causal get away. The outside compartment is a joke…you can’t even fit a travel size umbrella or a very small make-up bag. My sunglasses case was also too bulky for it. I am very disappointed in this purchase. I have also used the larger suitcase. Again, it is not as roomy as other checked bags. I do not recommend purchasing this set.

Great value for the price. The luggage feels sturdy and well-made, with a durable hardshell that holds up well during travel. The wheels glide smoothly, making it easy to maneuver through airports, and the expandable feature is a nice bonus when you need extra space. Overall, a reliable and practical choice, very happy with this purchase.

I travel a fair amount - once or twice a year - but I usually buy the non-name brand luggage. I figure it won't look new for long and the performance should be about equivalent. I was mistaken - to an extent. This was a splurge gift for my wife. We travelled all over Europe for three weeks and multiple times I was really pleased with how easily they rolled, how well they resisted dirt and scuffing and the functionality of the two halves of the clamshell (one with a zip closure and one side with an elastic 'X' to hold in large light clothes). I like that there is some give to the sides (keeps weight down, less likely to crack or dent) and protects the contents. IIRC it may come with a fabric bag for storing dirty laundry. We had one for sure. Super good idea. Tip: toss in a few packets of laundry soap for sink-washing. Bonus tip: bring two wallets. One with your native currency (and the excess cash you wish to keep out of reach the pick-pockets. This stays in the locked suitcase at the hotel.) I like the combination security lock for when we left them at a hotel. It's not true security but it will keep out a peeping francois or francine because it will show tampering and not easily hackable - if you set your own code. I bought the set in silver and it was distinctive from the many navy colored cases disgorging from the ragged maw of the baggage claim. The silver color looked a bit classy (probably classier than I looked, tbh. It was late June in Rome and hot. I was a sweaty colonial mess. Thanks for keeping it cool and classy, silver Samsonite). I cannot recommend this set without reservation. They are honestly too pricey. If not for wanting to spoil my wife with the upgraded quality luggage, I wouldn't buy them. This set is made well and I am so glad I purchased it. I originally bought another set with a different brand that had a 28” in it as well, but I found the 28” was just too big even for me, and I’m an over-packer. This set has the hard shell outside instead of a durable fabric and I like that bc you can wipe this clean and not pick up 1000 germs. The wheels are super easy to move (like with just a finger) and it has a zero turn radius. I don’t purchase luggage often but this was definitely worth it.

I thought this was going to be a great luggage set but unfortunately the telescoping handle malfunctioned on only my second trip with the bag. I am hoping it can be repaired under warranty though that will be a huge pain…. I had a Tumi set for 8 years and traveled many times around the world with it. Those bags got old and difficult to steer, so I replaced them. I thought I would try these since they got good reviews. I guess you get what you pay for…
