Great cpu even for 2025, dual setup in extended motherboard gives strong power with super low cost. Dual setup gives 32 cores, 64 threads. Decent enough for server setups and server possibilities. Not so energy efficient like latest generations. But for AI tasks, for modern times where GPU's doing most things, but sometimes need strong enough cpu without energy expences doesn't matter. Even after few years such dual setup will not be a bottleneck and I would say it weak stones, still between solid entry level and middle which is futureproof enough if priority is GPU with price multiple times less than more recent generations.

Works great!

the listing does not state that the product is used, there's a sticker on the bubble wrap that it came in that says new, but there are marks around the edges that appear to be from the cpu being mounted. we'll see if it works when the rest of my components arrive.

Unsure if this is new or used. For the price it doesn’t matter. Powered up in system and can verify it’s unlocked and working.
