The results are solid, but the experience is not for me.
I'm a simple man when it comes to bodywashes. I want it to go on easy, clean my skin, not dry me out, and to smell good. I can't attest to all the marketing claims with this Biocare bodywash (I don't know what "brighter skin" even means with regards to this), but it lathers up okay, feels hydrating during and after the wash, and I feel nice, clean, and refreshed. Job well-done. I do wish getting there was a tiny bit more enjoyable of a ride though. The bodywash itself is pretty thin. It comes out very quickly and easily โ too easily. If you are working fast like I do, you'll lose some if you pop the lid open when the bottle is sideways already ready to go into your hand. The sudsy lather is pretty minimal, but there's a little bit. The big point deduction for me is the scent. The smell is a moderately strong chemical-forward lemon. Like, this smells almost exactly like the lemon garbage disposal cleaner balls I use in my kitchen. I like lemon, but this is just astringent enough where I'm not a fan while I'm applying it. After I'm out of the shower and all dried and dressed-to-impress, it's faded enough to be what I would consider normal, though. I think it's hard to fault the end result (and that's what really matters), but it's just not my favorite to actually use. I prefer a thicker, fuller product with sweeter aromatics.

Itโs worth it
This shower gel works after youโve used it a couple of times you can start to see and feel the difference in/on your skin

It's a decent body wash, but it's too expensive.
This is a good body wash that is made in the USA. It works as expected, lathering well, rinsing cleanly, and leaving my skin feeling soft. It also has not irritated my sensitive skin. While "body butter" is in its product name and while it contains both shea and cocoa butter, the consistency of this body wash isn't as creamy or buttery as I would have thought. It just seems like your regular, everyday body wash. There's nothing wrong with that. I was just expecting something thicker and butterier. It's a Vitamin C & Collagen body wash that comes in a bottle with an image of lemons on the label. So, it's really no surprise that this body wash has a very lemony, citrus scent. It's not my favorite, but citrus scents typically are not my first choice for skincare products. That being said, I still think the chosen scent could use some work. Another drawback is that it's also pretty pricey at $19.99 for 16.9 ounces. That seems really high to me, and I personally don't find it to be a good value.

Smells like lemon Lysol, dried out my skin
I personally found this body wash to be awful. I love lemon as a scent so was looking forward to this but this just smelled like cleaning products (specifically lemon Lysol). I have a few perfumes with lemon that I genuinely love, so for the price, the scent should be SO much more elegant. It smelled like cleaning product even on my skin after showering. I asked my husband and the first thing he said was it smelled like I had been cleaning. I also felt that this dried out the skin on my arms as they felt tight after the shower, although I didn't have issues with the rest of my skin. I didn't use this enough to notice any of the beneficial effects, but unfortunately I wouldn't want to. If you are not sensitive to scent you might like it.

Sharp/tangy lemon scent
This review is for the Biocare vitamin C and collagen body wash. This is a small-medium sized bottle of body wash. The product is a pearlescent white with a strong sharp lemon scent--no sweet lemon here, it's almost startling. The back text on the bottle says that the vitamin C and collagen are meant to tone and brighten skin, which makes sense with such a lemony presence. This is a very moisturizing body wash (especially looking at its name, with an emphasis on the word *butter*) and is good for dry winters when it's important to care for and not dry out skin too much.

Nice smell and soft to sensitive skin.
I really like how this body wash smells, the citrus scent is fresh and neutral enough to be used by both men and women. It leaves my skin feeling clean and nourished after the shower. It's a large size bottle that will last me some time. The body wash also foamed enough that I didn't need to use more than a small coin size amount in my hand. I have sensitive/dry skin and usually avoid fragrances in soap products, but I didn't have any issues using this body wash.
