Works just a advertised
I was pleasantly surprised at how lightweight and ease of use. The vacuum provides plenty of suction power and the attachments are easy and very functional. The long cord length is a plus. Very happy with the ease of removing and cleaning the filter.

Best Vacuum Cleaner Ever!
I can't believe I purchased this vacuum cleaner 2-1/2 years ago! It works just as well today as the day I bought it. I have wall-to-wall half-inch shag carpeting in 3 rooms in my apartment. On top of that, I have a cat! Brcause it is a ClearView vacuum cleaner, you can actually see the fur and other particles spin in the canister. This also helps to see when to empty it to prevent a strain on the motor. It is lightweight and manuevers easily around furniture. But one of the best features about this model is that you can completely disassemble and wash the all of the external parts, and sponge filter. It is easy to take apart and reassemble. Air dry for 24 hours---and it works like it is brand new! It is sturdy, powerful and you can also use it on bare floors. If you're looking for a vacuum cleaner that is dependable, easy to maintain and affordable---this Bissell CleanView Upright Bagless Vacuum Cleaner with Active Wand is the one for you. I highly recommend you purchase this vacuum cleaner. In my opinion, it works as well--or better than vacuum cleaners twice the price as similiar models by other manufactures.

Upright and True
Very very good vacuum for a reasonable price. #1. no assembly required #2. not too heavy for those who have stairs #3. excellent suction power #4. easy to empty cannister #5. soft hum, so not too loud. Good purchase from a reputable company like Bissell. Only time will tell what type of longevity I will get, but I'm very optimistic that this one will last and I will get my money's worth.

You get what you pay for
I wanted a low-cost and effective vacuum and I got one when I bought this one. It's nice and light, easy to maneuver. Suction is great. Automatic cord winder took some getting used to but I like it now. Couple of drawback would include 1) the beater brush spins whether vacuuming floor or carrying upright and using the extension wand, and 2) would have been nice to have a wide floor attachment for the wand. This unit came with a jet nozzle, a small brush that doesn't give you much power, and what appears to be a furniture attachment that spins when suction is applied. With the exception of the jet nozzle, attachments are not super useful. Hard to do bare floor with a beater brush spinning. My old unit had a switch to turn the beater bar motor off for bare floors. Still better to have the floor attachment, though. 3) Unit is very wide at the front so it doesn't reach into smaller corners and behind stuff, but I might be spoiled by the old one that had a swivel head on it. This one is a big square compared to that one. I have to say though that for a hundred bucks this thing does an amazing job. My old unit had fancy features but it didn't have the suction this one does, even brand new. And the old one didn't last all that long. None of them do. But we will see about this. I will be happy if it lasts a couple of years.

Light weight, quiet, and efficient
I have been using this vacuum for almost 2 months now. Pros: -Very light weight compared to my previous vacuum. I'm able to pick it up to move it up and down my stairs with ease. -Quiet. My old vacuum was very loud. My cats would freak out and I'd have to wear sound proof headphones to use it due to my sensory issues. This vacuum is quiet enough that I don't have to wear headphones and my cats chill on the couch watching me. -Efficient. I vacuum once a week and I have 2 cats. It picks up hair, crumbs, you name it, very easily. I've had no issues with its efficiency. -It was easy to put together. My ADHD makes it very had to follow written instructions. However, putting the parts together was simple and I had no trouble. Also, yesterday, I accidentally sucked up my tweezers when using the hose attachment. I was able to quickly take apart the hose pieces and retrieve my tweezers without any damage. I really appreciate the simplicity of the design. -I LOVE the retractable cord that stays hidden inside the vacuum when stored. Cons: None. I haven't had any issues with this vacuum yet.

Great vacuum so far
We had a really basic Eureka vacuum that had good suction, but the wheels stopped rolling. To be fair, we vacuum frequently because we have pets. I saw this Bissell vac and picked it because it uses a washable filter instead of the annoying HEPA filters that have to be replaced regularly. This model had good reviews as well as a good price point, so I bought it. It definitely does a good job on the carpeted areas (bedrooms) in our home. The remainder of the house is tile, and it picks up things from hard floor well also. It really does a good job getting up pet hair, especially from carpet. I'm always surprised how much is in the canister after we vacuum (and we do it often). The extension and wand are nice to have. Our old Eureka hose was super short and was basically useless, but this one is functional. We use the attachment to clean our couch, which is white, and it does a good job. I also like the retractable cord, although that wasn't a big selling point for me. I really just watched washable filter, good suction, and usable hose. This vacuum has all three of those features, so I'm happy with it.

Don't buy unless you 100 % SURE u WANT THIS vacuum
Well there is positives and there are negatives Let's start with : Issue 1) I was looking for pet hair multi fuction vacuum for what I think is an ok price around 100-150 , found this one after a bit of reseach and it was on "sale" (it was in fact NOT on sale since its selling at the same price i bought it but saying its 10% off regular price and now ~130..... when i bought it was 20% off regular price anf bought on "sale" for ~130 ) this is more of a amazon with weird and untrue "deals" and even with price history it doesnt go far back enough for u to notice that honestly u aren't always getting a good deal. Issue 2) bit more maintenance than I initially thought. I bought it for a chrismas present around late Nov early Dec. Everything worked: the vacuum, the extented arm and extra stuff. Until mid Feb ( return window closed in jan) it stopped working properly. The main vacuum works but when you try to used the extended arm all the dirt in the filter kept blowing out from the bottom. Turns out you have to clean all the tubes and connections, check for the sneaky one on the handle, about every 2 months chekc and clean (2 mo ths for me for the cat hair) and unclog everything or else the suction power is lower and dirt goes everywhere instead of staying inside. i have another/differnt vacuum that is less expensive, generic no brand, smaller, a little less powerful. also has interchangeable parts (just the head regular vacumme head and small thin head for tiny spaces) that I got 2 years almost 3 years ago bearly clean onlt about once or twice a year. And still works well. This one seems like u have to clean daily but has more power and more extra stuff Issue 3) when u use the extention arm its only has around 1 to 2 ft that is confortable to pull, when u pull more it makes the vacuum unbalance and fall over and u ended up dragging it. I found that uf u hold the arm with one hand and the actual vacuum body u dont trip over as much or u dont keep toppling the vacuum over. Kinda not my fav wish it just extended more comfortably. Positives notes : -Really excited to used this for everything it did pretty well with pet hair, not perfect but definitely picked up ALOT of hair and left very little hair that are very tangled but u can pick that with ur hand Will test on car and update later -its light, suspiciously light.... the wheels are plastic, well actually every thing is plastic so... it makes me a little worried about it breaking. Sturdy so far. Its small enough to not take so much space, its about 7-10 in wide and the bottom part can fit under a table or counter so its less in the way. -The retractable cord ! I dont know why but it is thr best part. Very satisfying after a good cleaning session! Disclaimer I have not used one of the heads (the tourquois brush) as much, mostly used the Grey skinny head attached to the tube . and the black oval one with brush (mostly for stubborn dustsy walls) on the sides. Im quite happy with those and use the grey one daily. The turquoise brush is very loud and a bit more intense, I havent found where to use it yet....maybe for the car.
