Hidden Mountains: Survival and Reckoning After a Climb Gone Wrong

I loved the adventure story....I am not a mountain climber, but I enjoy reading experiences of all kinds.This was well written, however, some of the language did not translate. In other words, if you are nota mountain climber, I did not know what a lot of the items the author was referring to (as far as "what the heck was that?", meaning I did not know the usage of could not even picture what the author was talking about.) Having that said, it was still interesting and awe inspiring. What remarkable strength and endurance it takes to embark on this type of adventure. Not for the faint hearted! Enjoy a true story, and to know what happened to the crew during and after this monumental experience. I would recommend!

Enjoyable read with lots to learn from the author’s own personal experiences, the experiences of the climbers he writes about, as well as rescue services and their complexities. As a trauma RN it was also interesting to read about how life unfolds after injury, and the experience of friends and family during a time of crisis.

I did not know much about mountain climbing but this book was interesting as the author wove the story into information about climbing. Even when I know how the book ended, it kept be turning the pages.
