I purchased this item in September 2019 to hardwire my TomTom into a new car.Today 12th January 2020 I have just ripped it out, thrown it away and replaced it with a TomTom cigarette lighter socket, hardwired into the fuse box. In my old car I never had a problem with the battery being flat and the TomTom nort working. With this device fitted, the satnav never worked unless I took it in with me and charged it at home. The Satnav failed to start every time I switched the ignition on and would switch itself off if the battery was flat. Obviously the device was not giving sufficient power to either charge or run when flat. If you are thinking of using this item for a TomTom, don’t waste your money. Use a cigarette lighter femail socket, wired to ignition side of fuse box. Much less cost and 100% success rate as opposed to total failure.

Après 2 heures de montage pour cacher le câble, trouver une masse vers la boîte à fusible (merci la colonne de directement...) tout fonctionne. J’alimente une Dashcam. Le boîtier est très petit et le câble de qualité. Je recommande, surtout à ce prix. !
