One of my favourite diana ross albums l had a vinyl way back...so nice to have it to hand on cd now...really pleased with my purchase

Iconic album from Miss Ross who was a crossroads at that time . Nile Rodgers described how he and Bernard Edwards interviewed Diana Ross before they committed to the project to find the real Diana Ross and most of the songs emerged from the words used in those interviews . Boy would I loved to have been a fly on the wall for that session.What emerged once again was the incredible talent of Rodgers, Edwards and the Chic musicians and sound. They wrote produced and played on every track and it paved the way for many more productions with other artists as Rodgers in particular become the go to producer of the 80's. Delighted they have included original chic mix of the album . Motown and Diana Ross turned it down when it was presented to them . They Motown went and re-mixed it and in Rodgers' words motownised it and produced a weaker sound.........you decide.

This is good stuff, one of those albums that are like a microcosm of their time. This is the summer of 1980, along with Queen's 'The Game'. Anyone who enjoys Chic's late 70's stuff should enjoy this.

Love Diana Ross, she is one of the best female singers of out time, I am a 74 years old, and still enjoy the motown sound, she has always kept up with times and reinventing herself. I have a collection of most of her C/Ds and some DVDs.

This is her best record. This clear edition is fantastic and it sounds great.Thanks to Amazon for the great packaging. It arrives in perfect conditions.Highly reccomended.

Ok, but not what I excepted. I can't fault the quality though. Good CD if these are your song period.
