Quick replacement
Very easy to replace used up cartridge with the new one. I wasn't sure if I need to shut off mains water supply but in the end it just needs untwisting the old filter and replace with new unit.

Expensive but you have little choice
Have used a number of these Grohe cartridges for my boiling water tap. I have tried all sizes as they are interchangeable. They do the job well, but are expensive. Please make sure that you double check that the sealing gasket is seated correctly before you screw the cartridge on as you will get a leak if it is not seated correctly

larger than previous version - check dimensions
Wider and longer than previous (medium) filter cartridge(s). Double check clearances to ensure it will fit.

Size has changed resulting in lower flow rate
Produces very nice tasting water. However, the latest 2 filters where smaller in size than previous ones, even though the capacity is apparently the same. However, the flow rate is much reduced, meaningit takes forever to fill a kettle or carafe. Please bring back the old size!

Amazon Should Be Ashamed of Itself for sending a product like this with its seal broken
I have no problem with the product itself as we have been using it since 2016 and it is great. However, Amazon Prime has tried to send us a used item with its packaging seal broken so it is obvious that it has been previously opened. When I called Amazon Customer Services, they were initially very arrogant about it but eventually after 35 mins and insisting on speaking with a manager, they arranged a delivery of another one which we now hope will be actually a genuine sealed item.

j’ai commandé le filtre taille S sur amazon, il a filtré mon eau 2 mois contre 6 mois pour la même taille de filtre acheté directement chez Grohe. c’est du vol.

what can i say - if you have a grohe sparkling water tap then you need this. they are not cheap but they are cheaper than getting them elsewhere. it lasts about 6 months for me - same as the 5lb co2 bottle.

The product I am sure is very good, but the one I received had a broken seal, therefore I had to return it. It could have been a used one.
