I work at a large community center with many different "balls" to inflate and this little gem is a savior, quickly and accurately reading pressure. Expensive to some, maybe, but to me well worth the investment due to its construction, ease of use and accuracy. I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this gauge. Extremely sturdy with heavy duty needles (2) encased in their own compartment in the back. Batteries already installed and ready to go when I opened the package. It is shipped and protected nestled in its own foam "case"inside the cardboard container. Gives consistent readings and came with clear instructions - reads in 4 different measurements and the sturdy air release button on top allows you to over-pressurize and then bleed down to the correct inflation pressure for your ball. The "button" batteries are good for 3000 readings, per the instructions, and will require a very small phillips screwdriver to change them. I've only had this for a week and will provide a future update if warranted.

As a volleyball official doing my first season of jv/varsity matches in need of a new gauge, I didn't want one that I had to squint at to try to see how much air pressure the ball had. The display is clear and big enough I don't need to have my reading glasses on to see. Once I started remembering to turn it on before inserting the needle into the ball, I haven't had a single problem with it.

The price could be lower.

Really like this device. I've always had the tendency to over-inflate basketballs, soccer balls, and volleyballs when going by 'feel'. Using this, I'm able to get my daughter's volleyballs right where she likes them (there's about a 2 PSI 'range' indicated on the ball) and have them all feel the same. I wish it came with a hard case, because I'd like to leave the needle attached all the time, but I worry that it will get bent/broken off knocking around in the gear bag. Overall, great investment.
