The perfect crucifix
I bought this for a wedding gift. I am very pleased with it. It is so beautiful.. the colors are perfect and the wood is very nice. If I were going to change anything about it I would make it a few inches longer.

I am pleased with the excellent work of this Fontanini Crucifix. The wood of the cross and the painting of the corpus live up to the fine craftsmanship of the Fontanini name. I am pleased to have the crucifix hanging in my home.

Nice piece for your home
The cross is made of cherry wood; it is made in China but the quality and the finish are impeccable. The figure is made of resin, hand finished and made in Italy: you can obviously tell it is an industrial product but the overall quality is good enough, and the crucifix offers a great impression. I put the crucifix in my bedroom (taupe walls) it looks very nice... warm colors, great feelings.

Not impressed
I purchased this for my mother because she wanted one for her bedroom and the local stores no longer sell this type of crucifix. My mother loved it, by the way. She thought it was beautiful. I on the other hand think that the "wood" is and looks cheap (compressed wood), it had zero grain (unlike the picture), and the scroll at the top was missing. You can see a seam on the side as another reviewer pointed out, but that didn't bother me as much as the cheap wood. You will, in this case, get what you pay for. Just know that going in....

100% wood crucifix is 100% better than resine
I bought two types of crucifixes the resine one, and this one that is 100% wood . It is definetly worthy to pay the extra money for the crucifix that is 100% wood.... big difference
