100 QUEST Color By Number: Squares + Triangles + Hexagons + Circles (BLACK backgrounds): color quest activity book for adults

A relaxing way to unwind with a splash of creativity
Colouring squares and triangles has proven to be incredibly satisfying. This activity serves as a fantastic way to unwind after a tiring day spent wrangling a three-year-old and juggling various tasks. The "mystery image" concept introduces a touch of intrigue, making it feel less like tackling a children's activity book and more like revealing some artistic secret (even if the secret does turn out to be a cat). The black backgrounds really make the colours pop, and the combination of simple and more intricate pages allows me to choose something suited to my mood. That being said, there are a couple of minor issues. The numbers are so small that they can be difficult to see, even while using reading glasses, and deciphering certain colour names such as "yellow-orange" can be a little tricky. Additionally, placing a piece of cardboard behind the page is helpful to prevent any marks from transferring onto the next one. It’s an enjoyable and relaxing way to indulge in some creativity.

Love this idea
Saw a recommendation for this on Instagram and thought I'd give it a try - I'm so glad I did! Yes, the pages are thin but anyone who buys colouring books knows to put a sheet of card behind the page before using pens. It's fun to watch the picture spread as you add more colour and try to guess what the picture might be. Highly recommend this as a wind-down activity.

Fun to do, but thin pages
If using most frlt pens, the paper quality is such that not only does it bleed through to the other side, it also bleeds through to the next pocture unless a sheet of thick paper or cardboard is placed underneath. The colourings are fun to do though, as the picture finally becomes apparent.

A lot of fun!
Like other reviews have mentioned, the black makes colours pop. The mystery element does add a lot of fun which I've enjoyed. One small problem is one of the pictures doesn't have the colours to use, saying that - I think I've been able to figure out the colours to use.I've become slightly addicted to this book and looking to purchase the animals one next.

Colour Quest
Happy with amount of pictures, and the different colour by numbers shaped pages. Liked that you didn't know what you had coloured, until picture was completed.Disappointed as no matter what felts I used, the colours either leaked through back of page, or it had a bubbly effect on back of page.
