Blows about as fast as a hair dryer on the high fan setting.

Versatile little blower, delivered exactly as ordered (24V version). I have another one similar to this one, 3 inch, 12V version and I bought this 4 inch, 24V version for another application. They move a lot of air, work well under restriction but are a tad bit noisy.

Purchased two of which both failed within a month of use. Lots of carbon build up internally and debris falling out of motor upon removing end caps suggesting brushes failed internally. Have contacted supplier and yet to receive a response.

I am not sure what to say about my experience. The vendor shipped the wrong unit. 12volt. Which was useless on my system. They contacted me quickly offering to replace with the correct 24volt fan. Which I accepted. Then communication went dead. After five days I applied for the A to Z credit which was granted. Bought the other 24 volt fan. The vendor wondered why I applied for the A to Z credit.. When I explained nothing happened in more than five days, the replacement fan was immediately rushed shipped. But now I have two 24volt fans and one 12volt. With no further instruction. What I can say is this unit is superior to the other fan. Although these fans are loud, the Sea flow is 50% quieter. Seems to move a little more air. Better design with the fan a little further up in the housing. Also, I put my clamp meter on both fans. This one is about 10% more efficient. It is also cheaper. So the SeaFlo is a better unit out of the box. Definitely blows out enough air to cool my solar shed. Accepts standard 4" ducting from Home Depot. I am very pleased. But wondering if some how I will end up paying for three fans. If not I, am sure to think up some backyard project for them. They are built to survive a bilge. Which means a little weather should not even be noticed. Not sure about UV but the housing should be chemical resistant. Hum, I do digress. These bilge fans are loud. But also compact, sturdy and powerful. Which makes them very flexible. The SeaFlow is the superior product.
