Thunder Group SLTP001 Tea Pot, 20-Ounce

When I placed this order I had pretty low expectations for this product. When it came in the mail, I was pleasantly surprised.The reason I purchased this was because I was looking for a cheap alternative to Hario's gooseneck kettle. The spout on this was thin enough to get a nice controlled pour (for brewing coffee with the pourover method). Since it doesn't leak, looks decent aesthetically, and has a solid handle, I'm happy. This is a solid little kettle.It is little though (20oz). For a reference, normal sized mugs can hold anywhere from 10-16 oz of coffee, etc. If you want something you can make tea in for you and a friend- great. If anything more- get a larger kettle!

This is the best purchase that I've made in months. Perfect for a morning or afternoon tea, this pot brews just enough for two cups. My only complaint is that it is easy for the tea bag to block the spout, which causes spillage. Other than that, this is great. Good quality for the price, and the size is perfect.

I ordered the 20 oz. teapot thinking it would be enough to hold enough water for at least 2-3 small cups of tea, but in reality the teapot only barely holds 16 oz. of water, less if you want to add a teabag. The spout is crudely welded onto the pot. The seams are very unsightly, but I guess I shouldn't expect more from the 5 or 6 year olds who probably did that welding for pennies a day in China.I didn't receive a sales receipt in the package showing the transaction, so I have nothing to send the teapot back with to get a refund. I was thinking about ordering a bigger pot, maybe the 48 0z. one, but I've seen other reviews that say those don't hold a full 48 oz. of water either. For personal use the tea pot is okay, but I wouldn't want to show it off at the table for a dinner party, it's too crudely made for that.

I bought this tea pot for coffee pour overs. The spout is small enough, so that I can control the pour. I just boil the water in a big tea kettle and transfer it to this little kettle. Then, I pour it over the coffee. Perfect pour over. Also, it's so cute. My favorite Thai restaurant uses these kettles too. This little kettle has an industrial/restaurant style to it, which I like. I'm very, very, very picky about the things that I buy, and honestly, I adore this little kettle.

Such a small thing for this price!

Too small for 2 cups! I measured with measuring cup and could only fill 16 oz into the pot. It's the size of a large mug. Not worth it. I had one that was twice the size for half the price, but the hinge to the lid broke after several years of use and now I have to find another one. This one is NOT it!

We bought this for a kid's birthday tea party so kids could pour their own tea. It was perfect, and just the right price. Our 5 year old uses it all the time when she has friends over. They feel so good about being able to serve themselves.

It was a little smaller than I imagined, measuring 4 1/4" high (I was thinking it would be a few inches taller), but as it turned out that was just perfect. I can take my father a cup of tea in the morning and he has another he can pour from this teapot.The handle is stainless just like the rest of the pot but it has a high quality resin-like material in the middle that acts as insulation so the handle isn't too hot to handle. The handle, flip-lid, and knob are well attached. This is a restaurant/hotel quality teapot that is made for repeated use. It is exactly what we wanted.Additionally, it was shipped on time and well packaged.I appreciate the service. Thank you.
