Is the width of the rack 20.08" or 13.78"?

Hello, the length and width of the drying rack are both 20.08 inches, and the maximum depth when the folded part is opened is 13.78 inches.

Is this just held by two screws? If so, isn't it likely to come off the wall every time you pull out the accordion?

Make sure you screw into studs and it should be fine. And don't yank the accordion too hard! You can also get a couple of cheap u-brackets for the lower piece to prevent the rack from pivoting up.
