Great question! With hair on the cusp of wavy and curly, you can choose either formula as it really depends on the results you want.

We would recommend Wavy if you like a lighter hold with lots of volume. It’s our lightest formula and good especially if your hair is fine or easily weighed down by products. If you prefer more definition, hold, and frizz control, then Curly's the way to go!

How much of this product do you use and how thick is your hair?

We're excited to assist you with your application! Prior to beginning the application process, please keep in mind that our product are water-activated, so it's crucial to work with wet or damp hair. To achieve optimal results, we recommend following these steps:

1. Divide your hair into 4-6 sections.

2. Before working on each section, make sure to comb it out. Ensure that your hair is wet or damp, and no sections are dry. Keeping a spray bottle filled with water nearby can be helpful!

3. Start with half a pump of product and add more if necessary. Apply the product by raking it through your hair with your hand, and then use the praying hands method to finish. The praying hands method involves placing the section of your hair between your palms and moving your hands from the roots to the ends. This technique smoothens your hair and helps create curls. You can also choose to brush your hair to ensure even distribution of the product and smoothness.

4. Scrunch your hair until you're satisfied with the curl formation. Consider using a microfiber towel or a 100% cotton t-shirt to scrunch your hair, as it helps absorb excess water and product.

5. Proceed to dry your hair. If you opt to use a diffuser, hold it steady and work on one section at a time. Use low heat and low speed settings to minimize frizz. If you prefer air drying, refrain from touching your curls until they are completely dry. Remember, hands off!

6. For the final touch, you can apply our Irish Sea Moss Gel which will reduce frizz, add shine and make your curls incredibly soft.
